Scenic Hotel

Very comfortable and clean. The staff were their greatest asset, always cheerful and friendly, willing to assist with any request. The breakfast was part of my booking and it was wonderful as it included anything on the menu no matter the price. Location was very central, so easy to get around the main attractions. Across the street from the theatre. Would highly recommend and if I am in Auckland again it would be my first choice. Rooms: Spacious and well set out. Large comfortable bed and great shower with all shampoo, body wash easily accessible.

Excellent service - I was put up in this hotel by the airline after my flight was cancelled. The staff were very helpful, processed a whole bunch of guests quickly, and provided a wonderful breakfast with attentive and friendly service. Would go back.Rooms: 5/5

We had a lovely night's stay at the Airedale. The location was fantastic we were attending a concert at the Kiri te Kanawa Theatre, we had a beautiful view over the city and the room was spacious and really nicely and recently renovated. Minor niggles only with the room, some art work on the walls would have been nice but other than that would highly recommend.

Very sad to have only been able to stay one night. The newly renovated suites are beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable. I very much enjoyed my room service dinner the restaurant staff know what they are doing!. Thanks team.Rooms: 5/5

Awesome stay, excellent location. We went to a gig at the town hall which was perfectly positioned just across the road. Great value for money. We used the valet parking option at $45 which was so convenient. Friendly and helpful staff members. Amenities were great. Will certainly be back.Rooms: 5/5

This was an awesome hotel room! They feel very newly renovated and it was super spacious which was great for our many bags having travelled from the US. I loved the toiletries that were stocked in the shower as well. Great location, quiet room, just a perfect stay.Rooms: 5/5

Excellent hotel, the room was large with a nice seating area and a view of the tower. Central location and easy walking distance to everything. Had some issues with the TV but otherwise loved the stay. Very nice breakfast a la carte style but included in the room rate.Rooms: 4/5

I’ve stayed at the Airedale numerous times over the last few years when I’ve travelled to Auckland. It’s become a home away from home. The staff are top notch, rooms a very spacious and clean and the central location makes it easy to get around. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!Rooms: 5/5

We found this hotel as part of regular business travel and I wish we had earlier, happily have my team book here now.. Good food and rooms are very comfortable and roomy for me fussy work traveller but the best thing is the staff, so far all of the team I have dealt with have been lovekly and nothing has been a problem not that there were any on my requests. Location is good for me in Central city in relation to my sites I have to visit to avoid the really bad traffic.

Beautiful hotel. Service is okay - friendly but not great. Love the rooms. Love the location even if the parking is under the movie theatre across the street. It's not a far walk at all. Have stayed here before... probably will again as I frequent Auck from Melbs. Stayed in room 213 this time and whilst the room is great - the view was absolute rubbish. Looking at two walls only a few metres away... and rotting timber slats covered in bird sh*t. Would recommend the hotel put up some kind of screening or something... that room with the window open was depressing despite the fabulous furnishings. Bar staff struggled on a mildly busy evening - forgot orders next to us and got orders wrong on the other side. Understanding it's still a fresh refurb these things happen. Like I said.. would stay again as overall the rooms are super comfy and the location is ace.
