Polite and friendly staff who are helpful and informative. The room was way above expectations, a delight to the eye and comfortable to the body. Stunning decor, elegant fittings and a very comfortable bed made us wish we had booked for more than one night. Great sound proofing meant no internal or external noise to disturb our sleep. The shower was hot and great pressure. A standout, for us, was the separate toilet with a heavy, solid door. This meant complete privacy.nHonestly one of the most luxurious and comfortable places we stayed in New Zealand.nRestaurant was good too.

Rooms were comfortable and relaxing.nOnly issue we had was at Dinner. The person who welcomed us asked us to sit in the bar while they set a table for 4 we had family with us just for dinner, then he forgot about us. Had to go find another waitress who took us straight to a table.

An enjoyable experience. The Pullman Airport Hotel is located just a few minutes walk from Auckland airport Int and domestic. We checked in for some hours to freshen up and relax in between flights as we had a long wait. Check in was efficient. The room was spacious, modern, clean and extremely comfortable. The bathroom had all of the amenities needed to freshen up. The restaurant on L9 served quality food and staff very attentive. We will definitely be staying at the Pullman again.

EDIT: Review upgraded from 2 star to 5 because the hotel has advised us that tinted stickers are being installed next week over the bright lights by the door. I'm impressed that something is being done. The noise from the digital door lock is also being investigated. We will try the hotel again next time and hope that those 2 things are sorted. The rest of the hotel was just lovely.nORIGINAL REVIEW: There is a very very bright light by the door in the room which can't be switched off - to alert room service or housekeeping so not even important! Even hanging a towel over it, it was bright enough to light up the room. The staff member who came to investigate told us it couldn't be turned off and he had obviously had many complaints about it. And the digital door lock clunks and clanks regularly throughout the night. These 2 things may seem small, but they're very big when you need to sleep. At $370 for the night, we expected much better and we would not stay here again.
