Check in was warm and friendly. Slight issue with method of payment gift card - not having experienced this before but it was sorted out and the young lady dealt with the challenge well. Room service was very quick and the food was amazing. I ordered the pan fried cod and it was exceptional. Room was well appointed and very clean. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was beautiful and well catered the staff again very warm and helpful. Check out was fast friendly and staff were very quick to help with bags trolley etc. Highly recommend staying at the Airport Pullman it was a great experience. The staff definitely made my stay a great experience.
It was so perfect staying here after a flight that landed in the middle of the night. Quick and easy walk across the road to get to the hotel, avoiding the need to wait for a shuttle to a hotel further away. I’m a very light sleeper so I was worried about noise as our room was close to the lifts, but it was totally silent. I was amazed - no elevator sounds, no people noise from the hallway or through the walls, no aircraft sound. The soundproofing in this place is next level. And the bed was so incredibly comfortable, I slept like a baby.nnBreakfast the next morning was well worth the extra money. Despite the fact they didn’t have pancakes or a large range of Asian food for foreign guests, both of which I would expect from a 5 star hotel buffet by the airport, the range of food and juices was still enormous and very delicious. Especially the fresh berries, yum.nnStaff were lovely too.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at his hotel. We were extremely impressed with the service from the staff both at the front desk and dinning room. We traveled with a elderly disabled family member and were pleased to see them being treated with kindness and respect. Their staff were willing to go the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The food was delicious,
Airport hotels are typically just that: a place to crash before an early flight or after a late flight. But the Pullman is different—a whole lot different.nnSome serious thought has gone into this hotel, and it shows.nnThe rooms have big heavy doors that don't slam, and the soundproofing is excellent, didn't hear another guest the whole time I was in the room. Space is well laid out with places to put cases, and still have a functional room.nnThe air conditioning. Let's start with WOW. If you run a hotel and stay here, this is what you want/need. It's pretty much silent yet very effective it might not suit US guests, as you can't hear it. The controls took a second to figure out, but they all do.nnBed was very comfortable, soft but not hard, the bathroom was a good size.nnThe restaurant for breakfast was great; it had everything I needed, and the staff were attentive to guests' needs.nnThe bar is on the top floor and works well. You walk past the restaurant to get to it, which makes sense and gives the option of formal to casual dining. The lighting is again well thought out. Plenty of staff are on hand to make cocktails from the well-stocked bar.nnIt's expensive overall, but this is an Airport hotel that sets the standard, in my opinion.
This is my first ONE star review of any hotel. My wife and I were so disappointed with the way we were treated at Pullman.nnWe were wrongly charged for our breakfast buffet which was supposedly included in our package. And the receptionist actually CONFIRMED with us on the day when we checked in that our breakfast was included.nnAlso, we were billed for minibar items that we did NOT touch or consume.nnWhen we got in touch with the customer service through, the staff was very unhelpful and unprofessional. She just repeatedly sent us the incorrect invoice.nnWe previously stayed at Pullman Maldives for our honeymoon and we had a very pleasant stay. However, our experience at Pullman Auckland Airport has ruined our impression of Pullman.nnI would advise against anyone staying here if possible. Also, if you happen to stay here, please double check the invoice.
