Was just there overnight after a delayed international flight made me miss my domestic connection. The place was nice and tidy and comfortable for the nights stay. The evening check-in staff Tu, I think was very friendly and I must give a big thanks to Marita and the front desk staff manager for helping me when the yellow bus didn't turn up in the morning. As we weren't sure how long a taxi would take and I was under pressure to get my flight, they offered to drive me to the airport. Wonderful service above and beyond!
I recently had breakfast at the Holiday Inn Auckland Airport, and it was fantastic. The buffet had a great variety, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and. Everything was delicious and fresh.nnThe dining area was clean and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Even though I didn’t stay overnight, the breakfast experience alone was impressive. Highly recommend stopping by for a great meal!
We had a delayed Air NZ flight resulting in a missed connection and were put up here by Air NZ. It was very satisfactory for the purpose. A buffet tea was included, we arrived after 9pm and the restaurant/bar close at 9.30 so options were limited but fine, the mussels and fish were noteworthy. Buffet breakfast was also included and was really yum with a good range. Use the Yellow bus to get here, I believe it's a 24hr service every 25mins.
We stayed here for a night after a very long flight.nHotel reception was very helpful and efficient.nRooms were generally clean but the carpet in our room had bad brown stains on it. Needed a good clean or change. Room heating was good and bathroom was clean.nOverall was a good night's rest.
Very nice hotel with comfy couches for hanging out, a beautiful green garden with swimming pool, gym, and laundry. There is an airport shuttle that costs 8nzd one way. We thought the $30 for continental breakfast was too much money so walked 15 minutes to find a cafe and ended up paying much more. Free expresso machine in the lobby is a nice touch.
