Holiday Inn Auckland Airport

The lobby and common areas have been renovated and there's a great vibe to the place. There are cozy seating areas throughout in the hallways. The rooms were also renovated but done very quickly. The beds and pillows were comfy. There is a fridge but no microwave in the room. Though we didn't use it, the pool looks great, even if you just want to sit outside. Our room was on the main floor and there was a patio door that led to a grassy area. The breakfast was very good, compared to other hotels.

Excellent Stay Near Auckland Airport!nnWe had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Auckland Airport. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the service throughout was excellent.nnBreakfast was impressive — a good spread with tasty food and very courteous staff. We also had dinner at their restaurant à la carte, which was delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was fresh and flavorful.nnThe hotel is conveniently located about 4–5 km from Auckland Airport, roughly a 10-minute drive.nnA great feature is the Yellow Bus service, which operates a continuous loop between the hotel and both the international and domestic terminals, as well as other nearby airport hotels. Tickets cost NZ$8.00 one way and can be purchased online, at ticket machines in the airport and hotel, or directly at the kiosk at hotel reception.nnOverall, a very good experience — highly recommended for a clean, comfortable, and convenient stay near the airport.

OK, so the staff try their hardest but it appeared on the night we dined that the kitchen was under pressure.nReception good.nOlder hotel which has been refurbished. Great shower water pressure for an Auckland hotel. Great location for Auckland Airport. Food price is expensive for what it is.

Great facility and very friendly staff. Handy for conferences as everything that you need is all there. Easy access from the airport when getting people together from multiple locations across the country. Rooms are clean and tidy and the grounds are well maintained.
