Holiday Inn Auckland Airport

Conveniently located close to the airport and to the motorway north and south. Check-in was quick and easy. Leila sorry if I've spelt it wrong! was polite and friendly and very professional. The cleaning staff were friendly and greeted you with a smile. The breakfast buffet was delicious, as was the room service. The rooms, although probably due for an upgrade, were clean and spacious with a handy microwave & coffee pod machine. I recommend a one bedroom suite on the ground floor. Lovely views of the pond and pool from the outdoor seating. The water pressure in the shower was very appreciated, as was the comfortable bed and the toasty warm heating. There's self laundry if required and a fully equipped gym. There's plenty of free parking on site, as well as a shuttle to/from the airport. We enjoyed this property when we came years ago and were still impressed with it, and its wonderful staff, now. Look forward to returning with our family!

The only hotel that I ever stayed that does not have an elevator. The hallways are like a maze and I am surprised how many rooms they have since it looks small from the outside. Great location by the airport & parking. The bar and restaurant are nice and clean. Very kind staff and rooms are clean. The laundry room takes only $2 coins and you can get it from the front desk. $4 for both laundry & dryer. Was cold for us to use the pool but very nice garden by the pool area. The shuttle $8.50 per to the airport has a few stops to other close by hotels so plan accordingly. They have a kiosk by the main entrance so very convenient because it tells you approximately when the bus arrives, I suggest to sit outside so you don't miss the bus. My room had a 110v plug in the bathroom while will be convenient for my USA travelers if you forgot your inverter since NZ uses 220v. They also have a kiosk to check in and out if you prefer. Highly recommend for any USA travellers. Will see you again.

We visited on Friday, 3rd July for our family lunch, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. The food was absolutely amazing, and the menu did not disappoint. We had a group of nearly 100 people, and there was more than enough delicious food for everyone.nnWe were also pleasantly surprised that the drinks ended up being cheaper than originally quoted, which was a lovely bonus. The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly despite the size of our group.nnWe all had a wonderful time and truly appreciated the great service and hospitality. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this restaurant for both large functions and casual dining!

Words don't adequately express how pleasant my experience was. Whoever was the young lady who checked me in is outstanding at her job.nMy room was clean and comfortable, the ground prettythough a little dark at night.I didn't realise the menu at the restaurant was double sided however my steak was cooked to perfection and delicious.nDue to an early flight I missed the hot breakfast though I was provided with a box breakfast which just topped of a great stay. Will be back. Five stars all round.

Does what it says on the box. Very convenient to airport if you have a rental car. Rooms are old but comfortable- there was broken vanes on the heat pump but it still worked. Restaurant was closed for dinner despite it being Saturday night and website stating it would be open. We were offered dining in the bar which was fine and the duty manager was very attentive. Breakfast was also great value and check in staff were friendly and helpful.
