Heartland Hotel Auckland Airport

My wife and I stayed here to be near the airport and to enjoy their free shuttle service. We were easily picked up after our delayed flight from Christchurch and had a smooth checkin. We requested a later checkout time due to our late arrival and not needing to be at the airport until after noon. This was happily granted.nnEveryone working here was very helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and we had a great shower. The location is pretty quiet and allowed a restful sleep.nnMy reason for the 4 stars is their breakfast service. You can purchase the buffet with your room which we didn't. We ordered off the menu and it was just okay. The buffet didn't look much better ...

Very close location to Auckland Airport. Their shuttle service was great and offered to take us to the local supermarket and nearby Butterfly Creek. The Pool and Hot tub were refreshing. The bar was nice to have and a descent price. Pretty modern looking architecture and main room worth lots of seating. Overall a great value and we would stay here again. Thank you

Perfect for an overnight stay before an early flight. Very family friendly hotel. Fun pool and nice hot tub. There is a library where you can leave &/or take a book which is a nice idea.nAirport shuttle was perfect.

After changing our mind on our room and opting for a balcony we felt like we had asked too much of the manager, Joi joy?nBut no, we stupidly left our swimming gear on the balcony after a speedy departure at 3am. A few days later it was in the post and flying over the Tasman sea to Sydney.nI can’t credit enough the patience and positive attitude this man showed to us during our brief stay. The food was excellent, the pool was a delight and our room was very clean and extremely comfortable. It’s very close to the airport using the shuttle provided. It’s about half the price of the airport hotels and it has a pool, hot tub and sun loungers which neither of the airport hotels have. 5/5

The gentlemen at the front desk were excellent to my family and I. We had a change in travel plans and booked very last minute. Bad wifi and I thought I booked, but never received confirmation. The front desk was very helpful in getting it sorted out.nGreat breakfast - I recommend getting it included with your room.nReally excellent shuttle - was quick in getting us from airport. Would absolutely stay again.
