Airport Gateway Hotel

While the hotel is dated the price was acceptable at$112 for night. However there were a few things which disappointed us!nThe room could have been presented better if they repaired the curtains which required a few new clips. The toilet seat didn't fit the bowl! Most disconcerting.nThe worst service experienced in a long time was experienced in the dining room. The food was ordered, a simple fish & Chips and a Ceasars salad. The f&c's but no Ceasars salad, asked three times when is the 2nd meal arriving. Finally after I finished the F&c's the salad was delivered. No anchovies as advertised, tasty but not as per the menu.nWould I book here again.....i doubt it and I don't recommend it, try some where else!

This Hotel surpassed all my expectations. It was one of the more inexpensive options, and based on my previous experience, where we paid considerably more, I wasn't expecting much. The location is a short drive from the airport. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious, and the linen and beds are quality. Everything you need for a short stay or a launching point for your next adventure. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they have a quaint restaurant and bar that serve reasonably priced fare. It's not super flash, but it's flash enough for a few nights of comfortable convenient accommodation. I would highly recommend this option.

I was disappointed with the service at the Airport Gateway Hotel. It was difficult to get clarification when trying to make changes to our bookings or room types, and overall, the service was disappointing. We had to fetch our own clean towels and face cloths, as there was no room service available.nnThe TV was malfunctioning, with only half of the picture displaying. The shower door didn't close properly, which caused flooding if not secured correctly. Additionally, the mattress protector was badly stained, which was quite unsettling. Overall, the experience was very poor, and I do not plan to return to this hotel.

I could not fault this place for $85 a night, car parking for 5 nights and a shuttle to the airport.nYea, sure it's slightly dated, but take into consideration the location, wonderful friendly reception staff and the gentleman at the restaurant, not to mention the mouth watering chicken fettuccine it's not worth mentioning any discrepancies with the room.nI'll be back next time I have an early flight.

After a long day of travel and a canceled flight, my sister and I arrived at the Gateway Hotel late at night. The front desk staff were slow and seemed confused about our pre-paid booking, initially unable to locate it despite confirmation. The situation felt unprofessional and unsettling, he asked for our credit cards even though our stay was paid for, and the process was unnecessarily drawn out. At one point, he claimed he couldn't find our reservation, then suddenly did after I called my mum. When I inquired again, he denied having it, only to show our booking after I entered our pin. The overall atmosphere was dark, sketchy, and unwelcoming, hallways were poorly lit, and the room had an unpleasant smell. The stained pillowcases and towels added to the discomfort.nThis experience was unprofessional, unsafe, and disappointing. I do not recommend this hotel.
