Airport Gateway Hotel

The room was a great size but it was filthy! The furniture and carpets needs a good clean, obvious marks on the couches, some rubbish left behind from previous guests. Beds looked clean with crisp white sheets but only one thin pillow. Reception did provide an extra when requested.nWhen I stripped the sheets in the morning, the duvet, pillows and mattress protector were all so stained!nThe shower was lovely, but leaks out the bottom pooling water on the ground.nMold, random holes in the walls, rotten gibboard, long hair on the bathroom floor.nKitchen was clean and modern. No teatowels or extras if you were to cook.nRestaurant food was nice. Very noisy and bright lights outside so not the best sleep.nGreat airport location.nJust shame about the lack of cleanliness.

If you read one review, read this. We stayed here for 2 nights in a double deluxe room. I will start with the positives - the staff were friendly and did seem moderately proactive and kind. The shuttle service atleast was prompt and proximity to the airport is only 10 minutes as you would expect from an airport hotel.nnHowever, this is where the positives end. The hot water takes atleast 20 minutes with all the taps turned on to work, if it does at all. The shower drain was blocked, and this took about 3 hours to fix for some reason. The AC and TV did not work. The fridge is on, but it was hard to say whether that was at all working. To cap this all off, the parking looked borderline unsafe. The cherry on top were the extraordinarily thin walls, which when coupled with the particularly noisy clientele, made for hard sleeping. When prompted about the above, the staff had no solutions and were resigned to these amenities.nnBear in mind that we paid $190 for this - I would strongly advise you to consider paying for a better hotel/ AirBnb further away from the airport, and saving yourself the headache of amenities that you have paid for and do not work. We will not be coming back here, and the only redeeming factor is that Hotels.com gave as a small refund even if it was minor.

Handy to the airport and includes free parking and shuttle service to airport. Ate in the restaurant tonight and had the beef burger and chips and found that pretty good. Unfortunately the place is a bit run down and could do with an update and maintenance. But I only needed 1x night here and to leave the car here for 5days, so for the price it was reasonable

Fridge didn’t go in room.. they changed our room all good.. just lite bulb missing bedside lamp..had slight social housing feel..the roof was falling in the bathroomnSocial housing feel about the place.. empty bottles around etc… but the room was fine. . apart from bathroom.... possibly come again.

Booked for Easter Saturday. The bathroom needs major clean and reno. Mould in shower and sky light had dirt around it. Door had rot down bottom. No hot water available following day. Beds had outdated. mohair blankets. Pillow hard. Could not sleep due to loud.stereo playing and racing cars 3am in morning. If your taking people money for accomodation should advertise how your bathrooms are presented Disgusting!
