ibis budget Auckland Airport

Nothing fancy but a decent place to stay overnight if you need to get some sleep before a flight. Room was stuffy when we got there and the window doesn't open but the aircon helped air it out. Fridge, tea, coffee and kettle available, and very clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. More amenities were available downstairs. Shuttle bus available to/from the airport for $8 24/7. Convenience is what I wanted and that's what I got!

The room was of a good size for a lone traveller. Spartan but cozy. Comfortable bed, well pillowed. The usual array of coffee and tea and wonders... decent sized cups. The staff were courteous and friendly. The adjacent restaurant and bar was a bonus, filled with Interesting people. There are shuttles but it only took me 15 minutes of easy walk to the international terminal. Eight out of ten for me.

We stayed one night at the IBIS Budget Auckland Airport. It is the perfect location when returning from overseas and connecting with a domestic flight the next day. Good clean room. Comfortable bed. Great shower. We are happy to recommend. We will definitely stay here again. Also value for money.

Staff were kind and on hand to help with a late check in. They even kindly organised a second key for the room for my partner to collect and get into the room without waking me up after a very long travel.nnThe room was compact and perfect for a much needed sleep before heading off. 10/10 would recommend.

We stayed at the Ibis hotel for a 14h layover…we arrived around 6am, and couldn’t check-in. What airport hotel doesn’t allow customers to get a room when they arrive when it’s an airport hotel? Then they charge you an additional $35 to “possibly” get an available room at 10am as if they’re doing us a favor by having us wait around jet lagged! I also booked a king room, walked-in and saw only twin beds. Nonetheless, it’s about a 5min $6 one way shuttle service maybe free shuttle airport service is an American thing to………get you back home!! Book elsewhere if you desire a seamless and reasonable stay.
