5 Out of 5 Rating! The Novotel Hotel Auckland Airport is an absolute gem and the only place to stay for travelers on the go! You simply cannot beat the location—it is situated right by the airport, making it perfectly convenient for early departures or late arrivals. No need for shuttles; you are right on the doorstep of the terminal. The rooms are clean, modern, and incredibly comfortable. They are well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a restful and peaceful night's sleep despite the proximity to the airport—the soundproofing is excellent! The dining options, whether you choose to dine-in or order room service, are simply delicious. You absolutely must try the wagyu sirloin, the classic fish and chips, and the heavenly focaccia with black garlic butter—they are all standouts! The breakfast buffet is also fantastic, with a great variety to start your day right. From arrival to departure, the customer service was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The check-out process was easy and hassle-free, allowing for a seamless transition to the airport.

Fantastic fast stop over stays. Thank you for helping us with our bags while we flew around to different parts of the country and Australia. We needed a fast stay, easy access to the airport, and bag holders because 5 of us had to pack for 3 different seasons. We stayed with you three different times in one month and it was nice every time. Downside…. Expensive car parking, restaurant didn’t have many options and was expensive, construction noise outside.

After a long day and arriving at Auckland International Terminal at 11pm, being able to walk across the road was wonderful. The staff greeted us warmly and had us checked in quickly.nThe room was well appointed and had everything we could possibly want. I was pleased that the shower didn’t require an operators licence to use!! The lights and light switches though …..!!nThe best bit was the bed! It is rare to get a firm bed that you sink into and feel fully supported and comfortable. The second best bit was hardly hearing the planes taking off and landing.nThe morning team were equally friendly and it took only a handful of steps to get to the public bus stop where we could catch a bus to the domestic terminal, the train station or the park and ride.

This hotel was such a great overnight stay before catching our flight back home. It felt luxurious and clean and well maintained. The beds were so comfortable and while the rooms are small, they were clean and well appointed with a nice big window where we could watch planes taking off and landing. The sound proofing was great. I expected to hear planes all the time but we didn’t at all. There’s a little kids play area in the lobby as well which was a nice touch if you have kids. Will definitely use this hotel again if we’re in transit in Auckland.
