Pretty much the only place I buy my pro gear from now. Great prices and a great service. Their after sales service is amazing too. Michael dealt with an issue I had with a camera which had to be sent back to Australia for repair and the communicationa and turnaround time was the best I've experienced.
Great product provided, pity about the average service. The sales person was very polite in advising me he was currently busy with a customer so I patiently waited to be served. However, when additional staff became available I was disappointed to find that they decided to serve a customer at the back of the queue. When has it been general convention to serve those that have waited the shortest period of time? Very disappointing.
Alex was incredibly knowledge about the myriad of options and packages available these days after I contacted them looking to upgrade my set up after many years. We had several phone calls in the end going through different packages and scenarios. Great selection, solid pricing- would highly recommend, especially Alex's product knowledge and passion.
I bought a SmallRig Tribex SE, which had an issue with the trigger and the legs getting stuck. I was disappointed at first when I was informed that it would take about a month before a replacement could be sent. I decided to let it go for the meantime, and luckily I had a spare traditional tripod that I could use for the wedding event.nnTo my surprise, I received an email from Michael Zhao two days before the wedding event, informing me that SmallRig had confirmed the unit was faulty and that a replacement would be provided. He suggested swapping it with a new unit while waiting for the replacement to arrive. It was a huge relief to know I could get it sooner instead of waiting the replacement to arrive. Great customer service.
I recently dealt with Photogear Mt Eden and had an amazing experience.nSpecial thanks to Michael Zhao — he was extremely helpful, professional, and kept following up with Fairview on my behalf because I needed my gear back urgently. His communication was great, and he made the whole process smooth and stress-free.nnIf you’re looking for excellent customer service and a team that actually cares, I highly recommend Photogear Mt Eden. Mention Michael if you need help — he’s awesome!
