I had the best experience at Photogear thanks to Lyndon. He was super helpful from the start - answered my initial questions over the phone, then suggested I send through an email so he could check stock and set things aside for me. I sent him a pretty lengthy “hopes and dreams” list as a new freelancer on a budget, and when I came in the next day, he took the time to walk me through everything!nnHe was so knowledgeable across cameras, lenses, lighting and audio, but what stood out most was how relaxed and genuine he was. I never felt pressured to buy anything I asked about, and when something didn’t fit my budget he was easy going and helped me find smarter options or assess what I needed now vs later. Investing in new gear felt overwhelming, but he made it enjoyable and straightforward, which is exactly why I’m leaving this review for anyone in the same boat as me!nnSpecial mention to Luke as well, both absolute legends. Highly recommend the team at Photogear!
I'm compelled to write a review because there are a number of average reviews on here and on Trustpilot.nnMy experience has been starkly wonderful compared to any of the naysayers. I've interacted with customer service and sales online - great! The products were indicated as being in stock and all delivered to me within 48 hours. A follow-up requesting a case was dealt with by a real human who went to locate me an appropriate sized case. The price was the best in the market and the service has been phenomenal. I can't recommend Photogear enough.
