Great store with a wide selection of tech gadgets and office gear for a reasonable price. The service is friendly and efficient, making shopping a breeze. Easy parking.
This is one of the better PBs. Has plenty of stock and you can browse the items you're interested in. My latest visit was during the Black Friday sale. It didn't feel overcrowded, there was plenty of staff to answer questions, and the checkout was super quick. Bought a cute new phone case that has lanyard hooks and raised edges for the camera lenses. Very happy with my latest purchase.
Love this place!!! A perfect juxtaposition of cutting edge tech and old school customer service. Lester was able to help even me, a total Luddite. Trustworthy, helpful, and smart, what more could want? Oh and good prices too :-
I bought an HP laptop from PB, and after just 10 months of use, the screen went black, and it couldn't be turned on. The repair process was even more outrageous. They promised to fix it within 2-3 weeks, but now it's already been 5 weeks, and not only is it still not repaired, but they also said it would take another 6-8 weeks because the technicians damaged the C and D shell, making it impossible to reassemble. Our laptop is still not fixed, and they haven't provided any customer-friendly solutions. The product quality is poor, and the after-sales service is even worse!
PBTech is trying to dump their Open Box items through online deliveries. PB Tech online purchase dated 7 Oct 2024. I received an open box. The item is so old, the tape they used to reseal it has yellowed. The edges of the box are worn out. They are truly trying to get rid of stuff they can’t sell through retail outlets.nNow I’m going through all the hassle of returning it. Unprintable Forms, phone calls, hassle, hassle, hassle. This is not something I want to repeat and will no longer shop PBTech.nnOk, I must say that PB Tech makes an effort. The open box vacuum was collected very quickly, with hours from the time I arranged it with NZ Post on Wednesday, they received and processed it and a replacement was delivered by Friday. Very impressive, with the exception that the newly delivered vacuum was again an open box!nnSo ‘A’ for effort and a ‘D’ for execution. The newish vacuum box is in much better condition so I will keep it and will also give PB Tech another try in future.
