Pakuranga Library

The quiet zone is consistently noisy on Sundays. There are often math tutoring sessions and groups of patrons talking loudly, and today I've even witnessed choir practice in the quiet zone. I come here specifically to study, but the noise makes it nearly impossible to concentrate. I hope the library can do a better job of enforcing the quiet-zone rules.

The person at the counter with long hair and glasses was incredibly condescending. I’ve been around to most central Auckland libraries browsing their free discontinued book and magazine selection and when I asked where their free books selection was they go, “we’re a library, all of our books are free.” They were unpleasant the rest of my interactions with them.

Good car parking and nice small library. However the wifi signal to the end room where there are power points and nice tables for laptops is extremely low, so internet from there is mostly unusable. Writing this review from my portable computer using my phone as a Hotspot.

Great kids holiday activities. Helpful librarians.
