Best library in Auckland. By far. Beautiful architecture, quiet and good seats to read.
Fell in love with Devonport library from the first sight. It's really beautiful, well maintained, and situated near the top hang out spots. It's kinda like an oasis amid the bustling town.nnBook collection is quite good, and they have plenty cozy chairs to read with beautiful view.

Lovely library! Pretty both on the outside and in architecturally. Lots of areas to sit and read inside with alot of natural light and greenery around. There's a section for everyone! Even if you're just there to work on your computer, there are desks for you.nThere's also free wifi.
