Northcote Library

Nice library, clean and tidy with good variety of books, DVDs, computers are available too.it has very helpful library stuff and has a little community garden.nIt is very good place for kids, many books for kids and playing ground out side. Although, it not big library with only one printer,but it is very useful and handy.

I'm probably biased as I spent many an afternoon after-school here. However this is one of the nicest little libraries in the whole country. I just wish that more kids went here to read as opposed to people spending time on the computers. A really special space regardless and I hope that it eventually does expand, but when it does I hope it keeps its warm quant vibe as opposed to becoming a cold clinical box like so many others.

Very bad service from security tall white middle aged man likes to pick on people for the most petty of things apparently you need to put your mask an inch over your nose how pedantic is that? I said it was covering my nose but he got upset and got manager on me. And the library manager she just wants to end the conversation there doesnt want to hear what you have to say. I was making a complaint in writing and I needed to know the security guards name so whoever is reading my complaint knows exactly who I'm talking about but manager said I didn't need to know? Be warn you will get bullied at this library left right and centre from staff and security when you are just trying to go along with your business.

Northcote library is a great place to take your kids on a Sunday. The librarians are very friendly and it is great to see a diverse place where people of all ages can read.
