Central City Library

It’s a really good place to check books and magazines. The building is nice and looks new. There is always a place to sit and read. It’s friendly to homeless people, so it’s common to see them using some seats. The smell can be a bit uncomfortable.nIt’s also a good place to print files at a very good price. The language group activities they do are excellent. The staff is very friendly and excellent

This spacious area provides numerous desks for reading, along with a wide range of books and materials. It’s look quite outside, but lively inside.

Auckland Central City Library is world-class. They truly understand how libraries are a place of solace and comfort for some of the most vulnerable people in society - including people in homelessness. The library explores the potential of libraries to spread ideas and develop skills.nnIt’s as if a library employee decided to go rogue and implement all their ideas.nnThey have an area where you can eat non-hot food;nA roster of movies playing on a screen, with seating area;nA maker space where you can use a 3D printer;nAn entire wall of zines.

What a wonderful library with a great zine section and makers area with sewing machines. There is also a cafe attached which serves up some good coffee.

Excellent facilities at the center of the City and a very valuable place for Aucklanders, students, kids and the public. Lots of books, reading materials, research areas, kids area , citizens help and many more. This place is core to the community and knowledge in Auckland.
