Chinatown Wigram 华城超市

Had a great first experience at the new Chinese market. I met Maggie, the owner, and she was able to share with me a Chinese cuisine classic, chicken knuckles. And, how to make it. She's good at sales. I'm a vegetarian, and I brought a packet of knuckles.

New Asian supermarket just few minutes from my house. Officially open today with so many deal. Check it out… Long queue at the check out though….

Spacious. Had heaps of stuff. Depends on what you need of course but we found many of the items we would usually buy actually cheaper here than other places we have shopped at.nAnd today at least, spend $100 and get a free tray of eggs to go as well which is always appreaciated.nFound staff to be polite unlike some other places, everything was clean and tidy and plenty of car parking.

There are a good number of car parks, and the fruit, vegetables, and groceries were good priced. However, I expected to find more variety. It’s not as big as I thought, but they’ve recently started, so they’ll probably expand in the future.

Visited your store on Sunday and was extremely appalled by the young check out lady. I was next in line, when that customer left she quickly jumped on her phone texting and grinning at her screen, I put my things up on the counter and she ignored me for a few minutes while she continued to text. When she was done she did not even greet or talk to me. Looks like she hasn’t had basic customer service training, never experienced this before from anywhere
