New World Stanmore

Bought this pastie today from here, and it makes me wonder if the staff taste their own products because this was absolutely disgusting! Whatever the filling was inside did NOT taste like meat or even resemble it! I recommend NEVER eating this!

I love this supermarket. Well laid out and clean with friendly helpful staff. Also well stocked with good alternatively priced stock.

Can only ever afford their specials as everything else in-store is always over -priced. Wa enjoying being able to buy the coconut prawns at $8 a box until they put them up $2 overnight! now it's yet another food item I can no longer have. Greed ruins it yet again.

An older staff member was really helpful there when I needed to get a baby's drinking cup for my mother who was dying.nWent out of her way to help me and also get the new World discount even though I am from overseas

I've never really had a problem with any Christchurch supermarket. I go in, find my stuff, buy my stuff, and leave. Works well for me. Works for New World.nI'm really glad that the roadworks seem to be finished, though.
