PAK'nSAVE Wainoni

Good shop, pretty good prices considering there's not much competition around. Bakery and deli are some of the better of any supermarket in Christchurch. Fruit n vege tidy. Easy to get in and out of the carpark and the petrol station is likewise convenient.

Everything was easy to find. I got a sushi bowl for $9; it was super fresh, and the service was very good. They were very friendly and welcoming.

Nice and convenient place for grocery shopping. The store is very clean and not very busy, so easy to walk around. However, some prices are slightly more expensive than other PnS branches like the one on Moorhouse ave, but still very affordable. The good thing is that the petrol here is one of the cheapest ones in town especially after the 10c discount, so it is still worth coming once a month.

I use the hand scanners to shop and 4 out of 5 times I get 7 to 12 items rescanned by the clerk. There is never an issue and I understand the security concerns but when I only have 12 items and they ask to rescan 7 of them, then whats the point of calling it convenient also having security guard standing over me was overkill...its Pan N Save, not Fort Knox.

In the aisle of value today they have a bin of rebel wraps. I spotted a few packs of Gluten Free ones. I grabbed 1. $4.49 or $4.89. Not sure the advertised price. When I got to the checkout, they were $6.29. You should've honored the price shown. Poor service and attitude from supervisor checking, which held up the line 10 minutes. It was probably a customer putting them in there. At the very start of the supermarket. Really!
