My wife and I just visited this supermarket and the experience is great. On top of that, an Lady named Alice assisted us a lot. I would like to appreciate her passion and assistance right here. New World management team, you have a great employee.

Me and my friends had such an amazing experience on the 10th of October. We asked a kind lady called Hayley on the till if anything more of a product out pack and she had a great attitude and brightened up our day after she had helped us. Her attitude was amazing and had such great customer service. She needs a raise. Such an amazing worker and from this we will be returning to new world Durham street.

Helpful and friendly staff, loads of international products unavailable at other supermarkets, even though some are very expensive $19.99 for 24 pack of Weetabix; they used to be $10 when the English shop sold them. Easy to find products around the store, great selection of most items.nAlso staff can look up your New World club card if you don't have it with you , so you still receive the discounts.nIt's very old school, ie. They pack your bags for you. And customer service is usually great.

Lovely and helpful staff. I dropped some cans and they instantly came for help and offered to get me a new pack instead. Marvelous, kind, considerate and human. Love the staff in this store. They're doing an amazing job.

New World Durham Street’s salad bar is like playing lunchtime roulette. On a good day, it’s a glorious heap of fresh, cheap deliciousness. On a bad day, it’s potato salad trench warfare, ducking behind the bean salad into the scary eggplant zone because the pasta salad didn’t show up to pad it out.nnAnd the ginger crunch? Legendary. But it’s rare. Only appears once a week, and by the time you blink, some office hero’s taken the whole lot.nnWorth the risk if you’re feeling lucky and emotionally prepared to improvise with beetroot and bean concoctions.
