New World Halswell

Nice place to get some groceries. Staff are accomodating. Lots of parking space available.

Firstly, I have no grumble about the staff here. BUT nearly every time I shop 95% of my grocery shopping here there is at least one item I want that is not on the shelf. I would have thought the owner would be trying to keep his customers happy, and making sure shelves are kept stocked, and products ordered so you dont run out. Especially with Woolworths opening nearby. I for one, will be giving them a try when they open. I have found Wigram and Lincoln are well stocked but of course not as close.

Went into the store at 8am Saturday morning and can't get over how empty the shelves were. I had a lost of 12 things, this New World didn't have 6 of them, basics like Agria potatoes. Oh and you had those Texas muffins in there all that were dated 4 days ago. Who the hell wants to buy 4 day old muffins at full price. Disgusting.

I always shop at New World because the prices are very good, the stores are clean, and the staff are friendly. The bakery at this New World is absolutely five-star.nThe chocolate roll and the scones spinach with cream cheese and caramelized onion cream cheese are the best I’ve ever had. And the breads looks amazing!nBig shout-out to the team!

i came in with my partner around 8:45 tonight, there was a very lovely sweet girl working the self checkout, we had a little issue and she was beyond kind enough and helped us out, made my entire week. give her a raise ! wish i got her name
