Ah the glory days, it was always such a beautiful location, let us never forget the splendor and golden memories from back when it was simply the Wellington Manor inn and hosted the historic wedding of Jess's parents.... we laughed, we cried... all in the 5 star comfort of a motor inn. May it never fall.Rooms: 5/5
A great caravan park on the outskirts of Wellington. Ideally located, the park is a great stepping stone to the city. Staff friendly and amenities are spotless.Service: 5/5
Nice little motel if you don't mind the trains next door, the 1980's decor and the boy racers lol Helpful hosts and lovely swimming pool. We never got to spa as its only open 4-9pm.Rooms: 3/5
Great location for a stopover night on the way home. Access to the main highway was easy on a Sunday morning. The restaurant is fantastic. Lounge chairs and small intimate tables with a bar on one side and fire and TV on the other. The meal was excellent and service was efficient. We had an upstairs unit with a view of the highway. The separate bedroom had a spa bath on a raised platform, a 2nd TV and plenty of storage. The lighting was good. The bathroom was clean with a separate toilet. A large drawer and shelf in the vanity were appreciated. The kitchen area was not well stocked with utensils but with the restaurant and well cooked breakfast via room service don't bother cooking. There was a microwave.
The room was warm & spacious, with restaurant & bar on site. Staff were relaxed & friendly creating a homely atmosphere. Restaurant served large portions & a good selection for breakfast & evening meals. I accidentally left something behind in my room & staff organised to courier it to me and were very helpful in the process! Thank youRooms: 5/5
Our large group stayed and rehearsed here. Staff could not have been more helpful. Warm and spacious rooms with very handy kitchen items and an amazing shower. Only 10 minutes walk to J'ville and a quick drive to town. Great place.Rooms: 4/5
Have stayed many times , never dissapoints. The desk lady , Denise, I think , sorry if wrong, she was so helpful. Thank you . The restaurant food is consistently good . The rooms are clean and have all that is needed. The location while out of the city has many advantages and the parking is safe and and plenty off even for larger vehicles
Really sad to hear this place is closing . Heard Jess' parents got married here. Quite the historical monument
The staff were very polite and helpful and were only to happy to accommodate our needs. The room we got was comfy and the bedroom layout was perfect for our needs. The bathroom facilities were lovely and clean and with a nice big shower. Rooms: The layout was perfect for us and the beds were very comfortable.
This place exceeded our expectations! Celebrated my daughters 1st birthday at the on-site restaurant - Judy looked after us for the night - she was so lovely, genuinely caring and attentive and really went the extra mile to make sure we were well looked after. The food was absolutely divine!! Every bite was so tasty, excellent quality and decently priced! The room was spacious, warm, equipped with essentials and had a beautiful view of nature. It is only 10mins from Welly City in a serene location in Newlands with lots of parking available. So glad we decided on this place. Thank you for taking care of my family and making it a memorable weekend! Cheers
