I cannot recommend Axis Sports Medicine enough, thanks to Tyler McLennan.nnI first came to Tyler in 2024 looking for support and guidance so I could train for a half-marathon safely while dealing with ongoing pain in my left knee. From day one, she listened carefully to every concern I had, explained everything clearly, and always welcomed me with kindness and a smile. Thanks to Tyler’s knowledge, encouragement, and care, I was able to complete my half-marathon feeling strong and confident, it was such a beautiful experience.nnNow, two years later, Tyler is once again helping me through another challenging journey after I fractured my navicular and cuboid bones in my foot back in February. She has been incredible in helping me regain mobility, rebuild strength, and work towards walking normally again so I can return to running next year.nnTyler is compassionate, attentive, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her patients. You can tell she truly listens and wants the best outcome for every person who walks through the door. She deserves all the recognition for the amazing work she does, and I am so grateful to have had her support through both of these important moments in my life.

I dealt principally with Dan Halliday and Matt Farrimond, plus several doctors and the radiology staff, after opting for non-operative treatment to rehabilitate a ruptured left ACL following a skiing accident. I felt in expert hands from the initial consultation to the exit appointment at the St Johns Axis precinct. The patience and care taken to help me recover and reach my athletic goals was first-class. This reaffirmed my faith in those people who commit to working in the health system.

Absolute waste of time with this company 5-10 minutes on hold before talking to an actual human, they promise to return emails within 4hrs during business hours but don’t respond at all and when you want to find out information on their website it’s ambiguous! After my Doctors referral I have waited more than 3 weeks for the first ‘contact’ from them only after emailing them to suggest I find a different provider. Who in this day can afford to spend $300-450 for just a conversation?!

Dr James McGarvey offers excellent service as he is both very attentive and professional. He went over my MRI results in detail and made sure that I comfortable with what he had to say. He is an asset to the company.

Have been seeing Matt Farrimond since getting ACL reconstructive surgery over 2 years ago. Always been excellent service, always feel looked after and in the best hands possible with Matt and the rest of the team! Highly recommend coming here!
