Awanui Labs - Mount Wellington (formerly Labtests)

Have done many many blood tests over the years at this Lab. Have have had only praise for the polite and efficient staff. The samples were drawn without pain and hardly a trace of blood.nToday was just the opposite. Was like the lady was a dart champ. The pain was terrible and was proved by the blood that I wiped away. I don’t want to name her even though I know her name.nHope she can be gentle in future.

Elaine and the Indian lady were gentle and patient with my situation. They made sure to extract blood with minimal stress. 5/5 for both of them.

Open on Sunday until noon. Two accessible parking.

The testing lab is fully equipped biggest of all Labtest I have visited so far in Auckland. The facilities are good and most of the blood, X-ray and other tests are done here. Somw of the tests are free for New Zealand citizen and permanent residency which are sponcered by state.

I had a blood sample taken today, and the staff member was extremely cheerful and kind. She kept smiling and chatting with me from the moment I stepped into the clinic. The blood draw was very professional and quick, and I didn’t feel any pain at all. I don’t know her name, but I visited your clinic at 3 PM on December 20, 2025, in room number 3. She truly deserves to be commended.
