AA Vehicle Testing Glen Innes

Went there to renew my license on the weekend. It was so disorganized, with so many people there and one staff at each counter. I waited in the driver licensing line at the front and the lady kept calling people up who were sitting down and ignored me. There was no indication anywhere I had to get a number or something so I was standing in line while all these people got whatever it was done, probably WOF I'm guessing. After 15 mins I left & my hubby reminded me of VTNZ Which I went too, the paperwork I needed was available right at the front and I joined an organized queue. With lovely staff. Honestly put more staff on and don't leave the one customer in line for 15 mins.

Arrived 10 minutes before opening so no waiting after that. Lovely staff, everyone very friendly and respectful. Discount for being AA member a bonus.

I have a disabled and chronically ill elderly father whom needed to get his licence reissued. I popped in one day to make certain I had all the paper work required. They assured me I did but said I would need to bring my father in. They told me to come back on the Thursday at 12.30pm which I did. It is a huge effort for my dad but we did it only to be told they were too busy and to return at 2.30pm, which we begrudgingly did only to be told once again that they were too busy and to return at 3.30pm - This is not acceptable. To be turned away twice with an elderly disabled person is disgraceful.nThe man whom initially saw us was dismissive and nonchalant however the lady that saw us the second time was at least apologetic.nLift your game please!..

After repeated bad service I avoid this place like the plague. The clincher was some old guy checking out my new Pirelli $600 tyres after he failed the WOF and deeming them retreads due not recognising the modern tred pattern. Even on showing him the invoice he informed me I'd been ripped off. I may be a chick, but I know cars and aren't stupid. Get with the times!

Due to COVID level 3 step 2 restriction. AA testing centre was very busy on Saturday. Expect long queue. Very pleasant experience. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
