Auckland Radiology Group - Henderson

It was our 1st time experience for a scan in Auckland radiology Henderson branch. It was a very pleasant experience. Receptionist ladies are helpful and welcoming. The sonographer Dray was very informative and customer centric. Highly recommend him. Over all good experience

It was such a terrifying experience for me today. It was probably my last ultrasound at 36 weeks. The technician wasn’t pleasant at all and was very rough with the procedure. It felt harsh and uncomfortable. My husband and I were concerned about some measurements of our baby. All of our previous experiences with Auckland ultrasounds, whether at Royal Oak or Henderson, had been really positive. It was such a shame to leave the room with a heavy heart for no reason. The technician didn’t provide proper responses to any of my questions—she just kept saying, 'Your midwife will let you know.' I was expecting a positive atmosphere, but instead, she made the experience feel disheartening.nIf you are planning to book At Henderson plz ask for male nurse and not female.

Based on ratings l went to ARG Group Henderson, and had “excellent technicians”, but poor communication from the front desk. I arrived at 10.30am for a 11am appointment and was sent immediately into Ultrasound, which was great, then sat down outside reception and waited for over three quarters of an hour, and only after going to reception to see if l’d been forgotten, was told l was sitting in the wrong area for X-ray treatment. How would a first time visitor know where to go, if not told by reception at time of arrival/payment when they knew what services l needed.

Now at the NEW location for about a month, convienetly situated by the entrance into the hospital. New building, plenty parking spaces. New equipments, quiet and comfy interior, dressing room etc. My personal experience is that the receptionist was very slow for a new and key site. Not too sure if she is relatively new to the role or not as she needed to refer complex enquiries to the staff sitting in the little office behind as they were chatting away. Not paying attention to the front desk etc. All front line staff should be readily to come out and acknowledge incoming foot traffic. It made the reception looked extremely understaffed with people waiting and calls coming in at same time but one staff on the counter only. One would naturally expect better and efficient service from the reception to go with the brand new and purposely built venu. The actual medical staff were friendly and on time.

We had such a positive experience here getting ultrasounds for first pregnancy. Highly recommend David Perry, he’s really calm and relaxing and we always got all the info we needed. My only complaint is the price! But they appear to be the going rate for Auckland.
