AA Centre - Riccarton

I was extremely impressed with the service I received yesterday. The young lady assisting me was not only very helpful but also remarkably efficient. She made the process of renewing my license quick and hassle-free. Her professionalism and friendly demeanour deserve recognition – and perhaps even a pay rise! Outstanding service like this makes all the difference.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life, waiting in the queue for 1 1/2 hours to renew a license and it’s like a game of snakes and ladders as they have the main queue but feed other people in from the sides so even when I’m in the front position mystery customers appear at the counter in front of you. AA you need to hire some staff or get out of the licence business as you are hopeless at it.nAs for the counter staff working understaffed they are courteous and do a good job.

Today I had the fastest service I’ve ever received with AA with Ivy and the team. Super efficient sorting my international licence, went around 1:45/2:00pm, line wasn’t too bad and was moving along with more staff working. Easy process thanks team.

This old grey haired lady had such a bad attitude it made me think she was racist. I heard she yield to some Asian man.nnThe last time I applied same service the Asian face staff was able to do it quickly and friendly. This time, the old lady made all sorts of excuses to thwart me, saying she couldn't open the files on her computer.

Waited for 45min in the line, which it’s fine, I understand they get busy sometimes. However, Ivy made a mistake on my application to get a full license, instead, she processed as renewal for me and charged for the renewal fee, also cancelled my restricted license and gave me a temporary license.nWhen I went back to question about the temporary license, Jayden has been nice and went to ask the ladies at the counter for me, but they seem impatient and not very helpful.nWe had to rang NZTA to get this issue fixed because AA wouldn’t answer the phone. The lady at NZTA has been great tho, organised refund and new license to be posted.nI do think AA need to get their staff trained better as converting a license is a simple simple task that they should be very familiar with :
