Awanui Labs (previously Canterbury SCL) - Riccarton

The reception was really good. Donna and Seema were really professional but Donna kept blowing air from her mouth to my face which was very irritating. Maybe others enjoy when she does that but I didn't. And I was told not to move, so I couldn't signal for her to stop. I had to manage the pain in being pricked and the irritation from that air she was blowing. I hope they'll ask before doing that to a patient next time, if that's what is done in Awanui lab. Besides that irritating air blowing from her mouth, their service was excellent.

So quick and simple. In and out in 5mins at 2pm on a Wed. The nurse was very friendly staff and the bloodtest was painless! Parking is a challenge though!

went here for a blood test and i’d never had one before. the lady was lovely and very gentle and i had a great experience. when i went in there was hardly anyone so i had a very short wait but it definitely can get busy so just prepare for that possibility.

Was nervous as I had never been to a lab before. I made an appointment online, was seen immediately after arriving as only one other person there. Pinky was kind and so swift. It didn't hurt at all. I am usually bad with bloods but was very happy with the experience.

Disgraceful, Only way to say it. Hard to find and completely unorganized no wonder our health care is failing
