Riccarton Clinic and After Hours Medical Centre

Can't recommend this medical clinic highly enough. The entire team is incredibly professional, caring, and compassionate. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel reassured and took the time to thoroughly assess my situation and explain everything clearly.nHaving only recently returned to Christchurch, I was so grateful that they were able to see me immediately. I had a serious medical condition that required urgent attention, and they didn't hesitate to fit me in. Their prompt response, expertise, and genuine care made an incredibly stressful situation much easier to manage.nThank you to the whole team for your kindness, professionalism, and exceptional care. I truly appreciate everything you did for me.

I had to have a visit with the medical team and was treated so kindly from reception to doctor. I would like to commend my lovely nurse Lisa. Not only did she make me feel comfortable but she also made sure the long wait was as pleasant as possible as I was not an acute case. A shout out also to Dr Scott who saw, accessed me and treated me as fast as he could. All I can say was the visit was really A+.

I attended the clinic a couple of weeks ago and whilst I had a wait of 5.5 hours, I was triaged by two nurses not long after I arrived. It was an extremely busy day and I understood there were patients that needed urgent attention prior to myself. During this time, all the staff, nurses, reception staff and doctors etc were empathetic with every patient and their situations and kept calm and pleasant throughout my time there. I have only the highest regard for this clinic and would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you to the nurse practitioner especially who treated me. Regards to all.

Absolutely disgusted in how my child was triaged. We arrived just after 18:30 and at 20:08 we were told their xray was shut so we had pretty much wasted 1.5 hours with no result. We did see a doctor who said let's xray your son's potentially broken nose as there can be bone fragments that affect blood supply. Um yeh how does a medical clinic see my son who has been kicked in the nose by a boy at a football game and the only thing the triage nurse asked was did he loose consciousness. She then asked if he was in pain and he said standing as I am I am in no pain. She decided to triage him at the lowest level. He then saw another nurse and he rated his pain at 4.nWe watched two other patients with suspected wrist and ankle brakes come in after my child and leave well before my child. Both without casts ! No brakes.nnHot tip ! if you come to this after hours just make sure you over exaggerate your pain. This gets you seen quicker!!

What an absolute pleasure to go into such a well organized after hours clinic. The staff in all areas, were efficient and kind and nothing was too much trouble. The Dr rang with results when promised and put my granddaughters mind at rest. Thank you so much everyone.
