Riccarton Clinic and After Hours Medical Centre

Read some horrible reviews here but I found the opposite to all well most the negative comments. Pleasant receptionist greeting and very helpful. The clinic seemed very clean. I had a great nurse Megan to deal with on my tests. She was informative and had great communication skills. Friendly and professional. Great place, lovely staff. I'm not sure why there are many negative reviews. It does not deserve them at all.

Really positive experience here - arrived, was seen and was able to pick up my prescription within an hour. As a non-NZ resident it was expensive that’s what travel insurance is for! but most walk-in medical centres seemed to have similar pricing in Christchurch. Staff were very friendly and kind, couldn’t fault it!

Extremely Poor ExperiencenI'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent visit to this health clinic. The wait time was unacceptable - I was left waiting for a staggering 3 hours.nnTo add insult to injury, the consultation itself was brief and unhelpful, lasting only 2 minutes. The doctor's bedside manner was appalling; I was treated with disrespect and a lack of empathy.nnThe doctor's diagnosis and treatment plan were also inadequate. I was prescribed medication and told I'd be fine within a few hours. However, 30 hours have passed, and I'm still experiencing the same level of pain.nnThe cost of this subpar care? A whopping $130. I expect a much higher standard of care, especially at this price point.nnUnless significant changes are made, I would strongly advise against visiting this clinic.nI want a refund

Pretty slack. Got told waiting time was 1-3 hours if I wasn’t in a rush. This was at 11.30am. Fast forward 3 hours to 2.30am haven’t even seen a doctor yet. They’re not super busy. There’s nurses/doctors walking around multiple times up and down looking as if they’re bored. Multiple nurses in a room having a yarn or some shit with no client. Not recommended

So I love the nurses and staff my complaint is with the $70 phone consult charge 4 just getting my normal Scripts through of Insulin etc being a Type 1 diabetic. A need not a want . I could handle $35. But not 70. I Request an enquiry Please an thanks without being Rude in typing this.
