Outstanding Care, Outstanding Value!!nWe recently transferred to WeCare from our previous medical clinic, and the difference in quality of care and service has been night and day.nFrom our very first visit—which was a walk-in without an appointment—we were impressed by how fast the wait times were. Even without booking in advance, we only waited 20 minutes at most. Every single staff member we’ve interacted with has been wonderful. We have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Eric Akpan, Dr. Andrea Ramirez, and Nurse Practitioner Simone Turner, and all three delivered exceptional, consistent advice and care.nWhat stood out most is that they never rush you through an appointment. They take the time to listen thoroughly, addressing not only all of the patient’s health concerns but also taking the time to reassure and address the partner’s concerns as well. It feels like a true, compassionate team effort.nOn top of the top-tier medical care, their pricing is incredibly competitive. Unlike our old clinic, which felt like it charged us every time we walked through the door, WeCare actually passes along government funding to benefit the patient. Their online AI assist doctor service is another huge bonus—fast, convenient, and very reasonably priced.nWe couldn't be happier with our decision to switch to WeCare and highly recommend them to anyone looking for attentive, affordable healthcare!

26 07 2026n10 AM Sunday morning.nWalk in as an enrolled patient for about 8 years.nNever Never had any bad experience with nobody at this or any other We Care rooms across Christchurch.nBut the receptionist this morning was so RUDE!!!! That I've turned around without responding to her rudeness and walked out.nTo the rest of the staff, great job.

Yet again excellent care from We Care!! I only booked this morning & was able to be seen this afternoon by the nurse in the Care now clinic. It was for an infected finger wound. The nurse completed ACC documentation, gave me antibiotics then & there, dressed the wound & gave me a boostrix tetanus injection. All for $25.nIt's so good to see nurses given the autonomy to do their job so well & it then frees up the Dr & Physician associates to assist patients that need more care. This is how GP practices should be!!nI definitely recommend We Care as all the staff I have seen there are excellent!!

I had a very disappointing experience with the senior clinician Feliz L. The consultation lasted less than five minutes, and I felt rushed, unheard, and treated without much kindness or empathy. Another patient who saw her after me felt the same.nnFeliz did not appear to have reviewed my medical history and questioned why I had not taken painkillers if I was experiencing pain. I had to explain that because the pain was in my lower abdomen, I did not feel comfortable taking pain medication without first understanding the cause.nnWhen I asked whether I could have a scan, I was told to wait another 12 hours and, if the pain persisted, make another appointment before a scan would be considered.nnI understand that clinicians are busy, but patients deserve to feel listened to and treated with compassion. If a 15–20 minute appointment slot is allocated, there should be enough time to properly assess the patient and their concerns. As a patient, being rushed through an appointment leaves you wondering what the point of the allocated time is.nnUnfortunately, I left with a prescription for antibiotics and, more importantly, a very negative experience because of the way I was treated. I hope the clinic can reflect on the importance of giving patients adequate time, listening to their concerns, and showing kindness and empathy.

Excellent efficient service. Decided I wasn't getting better and made an appointment within 20 minutes I was diagnosed with pneumonia and given meds. Very quick, inexpensive. Highly recommend
