WeCare Wigram

Managed to book a same day appointment with a nurse. The nurse I saw was very kind, patient and thorough. She requested a second opinion without being prompted and was able to pinpoint a diagnosis. I’ve been enrolled at WeCare Wigram for over 8 years now and the service has been top notch the whole time. Highly recommend this clinic.

The staff especially nurse here are so kind and professional. I’m currently studying nursing, and they even took the time to explain where the vaccine should be administered and nerves are located so needed to be avoided!!nThey also prepare medical certificates clearly and efficiently every time sooo nice

1. Not allowing me to fully explain the issues I’m facing. The consultation felt rushed, with little patience to listen properly. I experienced a lack of empathy and care. It felt designed to require multiple return visits rather than addressing concerns thoroughly the first time.nn2. The pharmacy was booked 40 minutes away from Christchurch without my consent. I had to reschedule to a closer pharmacy.

The care, compassion and support I have received at WeCare har greatly surpassed that of any doctors/medical clinics I have previously been enrolled with since moving to NZ three years ago.nAll staff, from the reception team, the nurses triaging, and advanced practitioners have gone above an beyond to promptly treat me and my ailments with respect and professionalism. It is clear that the knowledge within the network is utilised well, that patients are treated as people rather than just numbers, and that access to the appropriate medical professionals is paramount.nPrior to enrolling with WeCare I used to wait up to 6 weeks for an appointment, for a chronic but developing diagnosis requiring surgery. With WeCare I attended the Wigram clinic drop in and was seen and helped within 40 minutes.nThe facilities are impressive and adaptive, with private consult rooms, a reasonable reception space, nursing rooms and an observation 'ward' with beds and reclined chairs for those requiring those services.nI cannot speak highly enough of WeCare as a whole and particularly Andrea PA and the nurses at the Wigram location. Thank you for your kindness and service to me.

Easy to book in. Great service from all the staff. Friendly admin, awesome nurses who are highly skilled. Fabulous team of drs, short wait times and very caring professionals who all go the extra mile to help and support you and your family.
