Radius Hawthorne

Radius Hawthorne is an aged care facility nestled down a quiet cul-de-sac in Bryndwr, featuring well maintained gardens and is close to amenities. There are four wings which provide dementia level D6 care, as well as hospital and rest home level care. The nurses are fantastic, knowledgable and focused on the resident's wellbeing. The Healthcare Assistants who help with toileting, showering, meals and much more are so caring and I learned many of them come from nursing backgrounds! The management staff are all nurses and really look after their team and importantly genuinely care about the residents too. There is a fantastic physio on site and the DTs Diversional Therapists are incredible and have so much energy, plan and facilitate activities on a daily basis. Radius Hawthorne really does provide exceptional care for our ageing loved ones, showing respect, kindness and providing therapeutic relationships to all residents.

Gosh, I can't thank all the staff enough at Radius Hawthorne for their very professional, empathetic, respectful and genuine care when looking after my palliative father.nThey were all amazing for both my dad and us the family. Nothing was too difficult or impossible.nYes, it's a bit tired looking, but you can have a 5* hotel looking complex with staff that don't care, I know which one I would choose.nThank you everyone for all the hard work you do, the love and care you showed, it meant so much to us.nJude Marks

My father was a resident at this facility for 6 months. The care from all staff was exceptional. I was often there when lunch the main meal of the day was served and it always looked and Dad said tasted like a home cooked meal. Dad enjoyed his outings, the gym and the Happy Hour session on a Friday. This facility became his home. I would have no hesitation in recommending this facility to people who need care.

My husband Fred Middleton was a resident in Dementia hospital level care Victoria Wing for the last 3 years at Radius Hawthorne. I have nothing but admiration for all staff of Victoria. My husband has passed away just recently and total respect goes to all the staff at Radius Hawthorne . I was recommended this place and put my husband there for respite care. Last Saturday when my husband returned from his dialysis he was given 4 toasts for dinner with nothing else. Did all residents at this place had toasts for dinner? Again today, my husband returned from dialysis and was given 4 sausages for dinner with nothing else. No vegetables or anything else. This is very disappointing. We put our love ones to be looked after while we are away and this is what they get.
