My fibremalagia symptoms are worsening and the neurologist told me to get back as soon as my symptoms come back- unfortunately the wait list is now 3 months which is appalling and now told me to seek my GP... my GP only referred me to go to neurologist at the out-patient building. This is very poor as the health system is failing.nUnsure what to do now...
The new orange outpatient is neat clean and easy to maneuver around. It is large enough for all those who wish to social distance.nThe central location is amazing for those traveling by bus as there are bus stops right outside.nnThe appointments are just so that it does get too busy and the wait times wasn't any longer than 15 minutes every time I have visited.nnThere is free water, tea and coffee around every corner for visitors. There is also a nice coffee shop on the ground floor for those waiting for someone.
Absolutely ridiculous there is no public car park on site or near by. After driving around for 20 minutes trying to find a park. Went into reception asking where to park got told there is none unless you park down past the public hospital and shuttle back. No happy at all as my Wife was late for her appointment because of this. I was also not able to attend the appointment with her for support she needed. Discusting good on you Christchurch council yet another stuff up
Modern hospital building, with excellent facilities. There is an onsite cafe with delicious coffee, and each floor has a television in multiple waiting areas to curb the boredom of waiting. Beautiful views out the windows of Hagley Park and the trees of Christchurch City, as well as the old Gothic structure of the Art Centre. Coffee available on level 2 for patients to make as you come out of the elevator straight ahead. Had phlebotomy services on the ground floor.
Reasonably accessible, no steps, some wheelchairs provided by the entrance for those who need them. The on site café is good, clean, food and beverages excellent and the staff are pleasant and do an excellent job.
