tried calling optus over 5 times this morning to upgrade my service, each time only being able to reach an automated voice which only sent me links via message . why is it impossible to talk to a REAL person????? I then went on their live chat and so far have been waiting 30 mins with no response. very disappointing after being with a company for over 5 years I can now no longer get the help I need.

USELESS..... Went in last night spoke with an Asian kid, said i wanted to get a phone on a certain plan with a certain phone. Something ive done with my last 2 phones through this store. He said I cant do that, i told him a previous manager Steve (which is a gun at helping out) has done it. I told him he needs to check because its possible. After waiting 15mins he comes out from the storeroom and says nah i cant help. Steve now works at highpoint try him there. Really? No one can do it i asked. Apparently all staff are less than 12 months old. I left got home and contacted the sales team and they advised they can do it and sent me an email as to how it can be done, basically a step-by-step process how to do it. I went back today the same guy was at the back of the store with another Asian worker both carrying on laughing when customers where waiting to be served. The other guy came up to me and asked what can he do for me. I told him the situation and said here is a step-by-step process how to do the plan im after. He to said i cant help. We can't do it. I said ill show you how to do it, give it a go this is the steps how to do it. Again he said no we cant do it. ABSOLUTELY USELESS THE PAIR OF THEM. I called the call center to just cancel my plan to go elsewhere the lady asked what was wrong told her and even she said you can do it abd laughed at them. She then called the store and spoke to the supervisor and got back on the line to me and said yes shes aware you can do it and go back in and speak with her. I told her thanks and that the staff should be trained again. She agreed. Way to go Asian blokes!!! EVEN your own staff know your a JOKE

Why have a landline number for the store if you cannot call it. Had signed up for direct debit & email billing - and it did not occur. Service is ok but not 100mbps as promised.

Went there three times to change from Telstra to Optus on a new plan. They said it will take 15 minutes, but they don't have the time.
