Highly recommend Matt and the team, service above and beyond. Honest and reliable advice, they know their stuff and can explain it in terms that are easy to understand. I sought a second opinion from iSpeak IT and saved myself the hundreds of dollars another local IT shop had quoted to 'fix' what turned out to be a unrepairable MacBook. The diagnostic cost was very fair for the time they spent investigating the problem and explaining the outcome to me. iSpeak IT will be my first port of call for anything Mac related in future and I have no hesitation recommending them to other Mac owners.
I am so regret my decision to send my 4 year old iphone 6s to ispeak IT Werribee for a battery replacement. The phone died in my old man's pocket from 100% charge to nil in 2 hour without being in use. I requested the staff to simply replace the battery despite they would charge $95 in there instead of $79 in an apple store. I received a call five days later said they couldn't replace the battery for me even I have requested it. They ran tests on it instead and couldn't find issue. Come on it was a 4 year old phone and got no warranty and they cannot even understand a demand from a customer. They are still holding my phone as I decided not to pay the $39 diagnostic fee which is another joke when you expect from an apple product. A third-party shop can do the whole battery replacement within $50 and this business decides to charge $39 without addressing the s...ty issue!! I am bringing this to ACCC and Vcat now and please stay away from this business and bring your repair directly to a proper Apple store and avoid all third party repairer if necessary.
Crashed my iphone, couldn't recover/update it myself, booked into Apple Genius bar for appointment but wasn't confident they would recover / restore data instead of just wiping and reloading. Found ispeakit, spoke with Mathew and decided to drop in phone for him to look at. Within 2 hours he had called and said phone and data will be OK and 3-4 hours had phone back in my hands working 100% with all data etc fine and restored. I was impressed. And all that for $35. I would recommend them to anyone and Mathew is a great asset and very knowledgeable.
I took my iPhone to have the battery checked. I was told the test could be performed in the front of the shop. I had to unlock my phone for them to be able to run the diagnostics, less than a minute into the test the technician who was assisting me went into the back with my unlocked phone! I questioned why he did this, and he said he just sat it on his desk next to him while he was out there. There was no need for the unlocked phone to be taken out the back, it should have remained in full view of the customer. I’m not sure what happened, but it seems dodgy to me.
These guys are bunch of thugs ,dealing as a certified apple repairer .realy unprofessional. During Xmas time 2018,my iphonex stopped working cause of water damage as I used it in the rain .i tried to get the appointment through apple store ,cause of Xmas peak periods ,couldn’t get appointment with official apple store .inhabe been using apple since 2011 and I never went to a unofficial repairer but this time I saw online that these guys have appointment the same day available and they are certified repairer. I thought if apple is displaying their name on website ,they might be as professional as apple is . So I took my phone to them on 21st dec .the guy on reception he take my phone and said it will take 10 business day to get it fixed and they will tell me if it’s water damaged .they have to send phone to apple repair store or whatever and they will notify me through call or email whenever my phone will be ready . I was keep on waiting for their call or email ,they will notify me that my phone is ready to pickup . On 9th January my wife said you should call them and ask for your phone cause it’s Been a long time .then I rang them and ask for my phone .the guy on phone said your phone is water damaged and you have to pay approximately $940 to get it fix.i asked them why you guys didn’t notify me that my phone is back ,the guy replied our system wa not working that’s why .i send my wife to pick the phone and the guy ask her to pay $40 otherwise they won’t give the phone back .he said that our policy that you have to pay $40 to get the phone checked .my wife she paid $40 and took the phone back .we took the phone next day to chadstone apple store .they said it’s hasnt got any water damage it got only screen to be replace. In 40 min I have got my phone back $0 fees paid . I hd Made a complaint about this to apple . I have got all receipts provided by these thieves and apple store . Never ever go to them guys . Better to stay away from them .—10 stars for you guys .really frustrated and disappointed
Not recommend. Got a quote from them for a Macbook battery. Told me that at least $300 and would cost 2-3 days. The battery is replaced straight away by another shop on the Watton St. Cost only $150. The Apple's warrenty actually covers nothing. No water damage, no physical damage, no dead battery.
Don't know how these guys are authorise apple repairers. Went there a day after my phone was faulty and got told I had to leave it there for 5 days and it will be a minimum charge of $249 since there is a tiny crack on my screen that was unrelated to the fault. I decided against leaving it there and drove straight to Highpoint Apple store. Even though I had to wait hours for a walk in appointment, I got my phone back within the day with a lesser cost.
Very impressive service, knowledgeable & great communication. They fixed my iMac and when I got to pay they said it was cheaper than the quote as the parts came in less than they were listed, so they passed on the discount. When does that ever happen?! Thanks Ben & Matt.
Very disappointed! Unfriendly customer service. They lost my SIM card when repaired my iphone 7+. When I asked about my SIM card, the staff only asked me to go to my network provider to get the new SIM card, not apologizing at all! Very rude! Don't know why Apple give this shop an authorized repair center.
Very poor service, Booked the appointment on Saturady morning for iphone Battery replacement. Went to shop and he said they dont have the replacement battries in very unprofessional way. He doesnt have any clue about Apple service bookings and sad to see this as authorised dealer. Asked him the time frame and he suggested a week or so. Very disappointed and his response is very unprofessional.
