Spent 2 nights at the hospital, was very nervous going in. Staff were all very patient and professional from Admission to Discharge. Nurses in the facility are second to none!! A massive THANK YOU to all the staff, Denise whilst in recovery and specifically Nurses Holly, Lara, Charles, Carol, Stephanie & Sweety for looking after me during my stay. You all made it such a positive experience and I couldn't be more grateful. Warm regards Bed 43 :)

My son went in for an operation. The staff were great however the accounts department was absolutely hopeless. They charged $500 excess by mistake. It took me over a month and 5 phone calls to get the money back. It seems the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing in that department

Would like to say a big thank you to the staff at the Westmead Private hospital. My partner went in for day surgery and all i can say is the staff were outstanding. They treated my partner as a real human being which really put her at ease. The staff there were outstanding even the vollies at reception were outstanding. Thank you so much guys i can't thank you enough.

One of my Son's was sent there by the children's hospital because he was over 16 year's old. They had him prepped for theatre within half an hour of arriving and was put into a private room near the nurse's desk because he was a minor and underage. This was as a public medicare patient. The staff were amazing. Then at the end of last year my husband had to be transferred from Blacktown hospital to have plate's put into his broken jaw and even as a private patient he was sharing a room with 3 other of different sexes. I don't like men and women of different age's sharing a room. They have a Arabic Bank and you have lot's of place's for the family to buy food.

I had my baby a little over a month ago here. I cannot fault my birthing experience. The midwives (particularly Lindgi) in the suite and my OB (Dr Kasturi) were top notch. My little one had to be admitted to the special care nursery. Some of the midwives there were wonderful particularly Maryann, Karen and Hayley. They were kind, considerate and efficient with beautiful manners. This made a world of difference since we were stuck in hospital over Christmas. The lactation room was extremely beneficial. However, my partner wanted to stay over and we were promised a double bed which we only got for 2 out of 8 nights after constantly requesting one. There were also two midwives who were really, really rude. It is because of them that I am rating this hospital 2 stars. One named Chris was extremely reluctant to provide us with extra blankets to endure the freezing room temperatures during those 6 nights in a single room. She was also really rude in the way she communicated to me. The other named Carol was also rude in her dealings with me at the nursery on more than one occasion. As a first time mum, I was nervous about having my baby and leaving her in the nursery but these two made it all the more difficult. It is appalling that this happens in the private sector. It is making me consider alternative options should I ever require hospital care again.
