The worst hospital in terms of patient service. I am writing this review from hospital bed. I came here on Saturday night on emergency to have a surgery on Peri anal Abcess. It’s Wednesday And I am still waiting for my surgery to be done. I am really mentally distressed and already sicker than my first day in the hospital. Doctor’s do not know when I am going to have my surgery done. They keep saying another emergency arose before mine so my operation got canceled. How can I make them understand that I am in such a mental state that , I am myself an emergency now. If they don’t do anything in the next 24 hours I don’t what I am going to do..... very depressed. I am in the short stay ward. Number 14.

Not reviewing the hospital itself, moreso the paramedics that assisted me. They were absolutely fantastic, made me feel incredibly comfortable, and were very thorough with their examinations. One of their names was Kerrin, she was an absolute gem. Just putting this up here due to the fact Liverpool's only got a 2 star rating, when realistically, every time I've ever been treated there, the staff have always been amazing. PEC Ward not so much, but every other ward, and in before, the ambulance workers were fantastic.

They disabled my sister. Turned her away twice on 2 separate issues. First: lack of feeling in lower half of body, unable to control bowel of bladder. They turned her away. They finally operated on her but it was too late and the nerve was beyond saving. Second: foot ulcer. They turned her away - she had to go to a different hospital (the one that told her to go to Liverpool). The foot clinic at the other hospital did the best they could with the equipment they had. Liverpool finally admitted her but it was too late and the infection was in the bone. Now they have to amputate her foot because of their INEPTITUDE. Avoid this hospital at all costs. Go somewhere else.
