15.3.25 to 11.4.25nCame from Macquarie hospital after having a Total ankle replacement and achillies lengthening. When I arrived after 3 days after operation I wasn't quite feeling the best but by the time I left i was feeling so much better. The staff are incredible, caring and so kind. All staff have the attitudes to help you out in any way possible, nothing's a bother to them. I've really met some lovely people there both staff and patients and I would definitely choose to come back to this hospital again. I've dealt with lovely drs along the way, the admin staff have been my back up secretary. Thank you kerry for those print outs. Dr ly was very approachable and caring towards my needs and how I was feeling along the way.nThe cleaning and kitchen staff are most helpful and also have a bubbly personality.nPhysio and the OTs are beautiful people that I have had the most fun with because of the exercises you've shown me and pushed me in order to get me to improve in striding for the best results within my 4 wk non weight bearing capabilities. Alexa Niamh Taylor Michelle and of course the boys also. Physio also had me encouraging other patients with their exercises also so it made it more fun.nOTs well got discovered by the OTs eventually and joined there 10am meetings. It was fun we did bingo, cooking, general discussions, and Trivia. Bingo i blitzed and Trivia I failed. In the end it was alot of fun. So thank you to Grace Jemma and Jo and any other person I've missed along the way..nYour truly an amazing team.nBest wishes always,nCatherine ouldnMelb patient or glitter girl. Excellent care provided by Sydney Private Hospital, where I had a hernia successfully repaired. Through no fault of the hospital, there was confusion about my admission date resulting in me arriving a day earlier than expected. I would have been satisfied spending the night in a lounge with a bottle of water, but after talking to a promptly arriving and sympathetic administrator, was placed in my private room and provided a meal. Nurses, receptionist and administrator were all great, as were my surgeons. Nurses were friendly and efficient, the call button was always answered quickly, day or night. Room was comfortable, private and quiet; food was varied and good. The suburban setting provided a pleasant tree-filled ambience. I could not have asked for a better experience.
My mother Concetta has been coming to this hospital for a few years and Stephanie has been greeting us here at the front counter and has always been greeting us with her very beautiful smile . She has been very helpful and has always directed us in the right way and given us great service. My mother is always very happy to talk to her and see her she brightens up her day and makes it easy for her to adjust her patient schedule .
Feedback for receptionist at main entrance wearing black scrub with no glasses.nMy partner was booked for ACl Reconstruction with OVHC Insurance 15/ 4 and we were there at 2pm, Nervous and stressed. She gave us a paper to check our details . There was spelling error and she asked us to write in a paper which i did . Again she said she could not read. I wrote it in the capital letter clearly. she printed 2nd paper and there was same error . So we said its “k” not “W” and she said it looked like w . As I know there is no connection of alphabet between k and W while writing. She started arguing raising her voice. “Its w , we write like this in here” and overwrite on top of my k and made W and was like look its w . Why should you overwrite on top of my writing just to hide your mistake or scared if i show that to another receptionist inside? And What do you mean by in here cause we got the overseas healthcare? Acting racist is not cool . Also she lied at last saying i asked you to spell the name but when? She just gave the paper and pen twice. Check the camera if you have one. It might not be a big topic but do you argue with the patient and family who is there for surgery and needs emotional support ?If it’s mistake thats fine you can just print another paper. We would be more than happy . Please give some training regarding customer service to that upfront staff and behave equally to every individual or Please visit any other private hospital of st Vincent's to see the customer service.
RHONA'S STORYnnMy mom's journey to undergo knee replacement surgery was both challenging and inspiring. Coming from a Caribbean country where such procedures are not available, she had to travel abroad for treatment. After much research, we decided on Dr. Kuo, who successfully performed the surgery at Sydney Private Hospital.nnThe road to recovery was not easy, especially since all the costs were out of pocket due to the lack of Medicare coverage. However, with the help of family, friends, and a GoFundMe campaign, we were able to raise $50,000 to cover her expenses.nnDuring her preoperative check, we discovered that my mom had atrial fibrillation AF and would need lifelong medication. Despite this additional health challenge, Dr. Kuo and the entire medical team provided excellent care, ensuring she was well-prepared for surgery.nnAfter her successful bilateral knee replacement, my mom underwent rehabilitation at the Day Rehabilitation Centre, where she received outstanding physiotherapy to aid her recovery. Senior Physiotherapist Jason were particularly outstanding in encouraging my mom. We are deeply grateful for the commitment and support shown by Sydney Private Hospital, Dr. Kuo, and everyone involved in her care.nnThis journey has been difficult, but thanks to the support of our loved ones and the exceptional medical team, my mom is now on the path to a better quality of life. We will forever be thankful for the help and dedication that made this possible. A true testiment to Australia for having one of the best healthcare system in the world. Thank you all RHONA
