North Shore Private Hospital

We had our baby here (live in Mosman) and would definitely not recommend it. We were sent home after my wife's water had broken which caused all sorts of complications. Don't let them send you home! RNSP maternity ward is outdated and tired with cramped rooms. On the flip side the midwives at RNSP are brilliant but that's about the only positive. Be careful of extra charges on top of your private health cover, because the birth was mismanaged we needed to spend extra time in hospital and were sent a $6,000 bill. There was a real lack of transparency around the hospital charges and for the paediatrician. Go to the Mater instead!

Had a really good experience here. I felt taken care of. Rooms were were nice too.

Had knee replacement surgery and the whole experience was outstanding. Nothing was ever a trouble and they went out of their way to ensure my stay was as conformable as possible. I cannot recommend this hospital and is staff highly enough. Thank you.

Everything you would expect from a large private hospital. Very professional and most of the top specialist operates there, and it's just right next to major trauma hospital RNSH if anything goes wrong I guess.
