We provide rehabilitation, palliative and supportive care, pain management, mental health care for older people, community care and other vital support services.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity specialising in dementia and aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and older persons' mental health.

The care and devotion of the staff to my aunt at the Greenwich palliative care facility has been incredible. Her stay was extended. Our family has experienced several similar facilities over the years. At all times, the nurses and doctors were responsive to my aunt's needs and extremely sensitive to her pain management and comfort requirements. Communication with our family was exemplary. While medical care was exceptional, the team do not simply take a 'clinical' approach to end of life. My aunt was as comfortable as possible and calm. The Greenwich facility was extremely clean at all times. Finally, thank you for everything!
My mother came here for palliative care for a number of weeks. The care provided by the doctors and nurses during her stay was simply outstanding. The room was great, and the food was of a good standard. This is an excellent hospital, and I would not hesitate recommending it to anyone considering admission.
Best care ever, nurses and Dr's.are the best and most caring and have the utmost respect for their patients. Amazing services and high standards. Very quiet and peaceful.
Riverglen unit is a full scale psychiatric ward that restrains patients. They have 2 staff on at night for 20 geriatric psychiatric patients. The unit has the look and feel of a prison. If thats what you expect then I think they are most likely fine. In my case we felt mislead by Royal North Shore about the nature of care they were trying to transfer my mum to. Be very careful before trusting RNS, make sure you inspect any transfer options personally and ask about staff ratios and use of restraints at least.
My dad was admitted to Greenwich Hospital for rehab due to a recent fall. Everyone there, ranging from the the doctors, nurses, carers, physios, OTs, speech specialists, dietitians and all other support staff, are all just wonderful. They genuinely care about your wellbeing and recovery there, and will go the extra mile to make your stay in the hospital as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. All the different areas work together seamlessly as a team and very professional. Highly recommended!
