I’ve been suffering from ear infection almost 3 weeks. While writing this comment, I’m still suffering from ringing in my ear. This week, it seems that my condition gets worse. Last week, I got a chance to visit ent clinic of this hospital. As a result, the doctor just asked me to go home and wait for recovery. He virtually did nothing. No treatment was given. He just asked two trainees/nursesNot sure who they are to have a look at my ear canals. Then he just concluded that I just need to wait for recovery based on both trainees’ observation and my description.  I’m really disappointed and will never come to this hospital again. That was too ridiculous. Who can tell me the reason why a doctor can conclude confidently without his own check on patient’s condition?

Went in because I was experiencing severe abdominal pain, I don’t like hospitals due to past experiences however this time was unavoidable . I didn’t wait long to be seen , the nurse Katie red hair  was phenomenal.she was attentive funny and kind and made my stay so much better. And to top it off the handsome Irish doctor Luke matched Katie’s energy I felt like I was apart of a greys anatomy episode and made my healing journey so much better .. I applaud the work and effort these two put into their job. This is what health workers are all about.

Wonderful staff. Food looks good and easy to walk around find it hard to be lost

My experience as an outpatient has been appalling . Forms and referrals lost in several different clinics and what they do ? Blame me and expect me to fix their mistakes which is appalling. Made all of my appointments in person on the day the dr gave them to me so there’s no excuse. I understand mistakes get made. Don’t blame the patient . You’re there to help not treat them with contempt. Going to st Vincent’s next time . Be nicer to your patients powh

As for the care at Prince of Wales I couldn't fault them. I was in ICU for 4 days then a week on the ward. If it wasn't for the staff at ICU I don't know if I'd still be here. My only complaint is that I never received a discharge letter when I left. When I asked they advised me that it would come in the mail. So after 2weeks no letter. They now tell me i have to apply to receive my discharge letter. This is a really crappy system. I was in critical condition yet I have nothing to give my GP explaining what occurred. I have never left a hospital without a discharge letter and find this atrocious.
