Prince Of Wales Hospital

I had a double hernia operation and stayed overnight. What got me more than anything was the staff. Normally you get one or two grumpies. The staff there we genuinely caring and friendly. Not one ounce of attitude, Could not do enough to make your stay comfortable. I can’t believe I am saying this but I actually enjoyed being there.

came here when i became very very unwell with strep throat with a 39 degree temperature and i couldn't drink or eat and my tonsils had turned black... anyway i was seen almost instantly by a doctor who took my vitals and i had a HR of 150 and so i and got a bed in a room and had an IV started very quickly with some pain killers and steroids to reduce swelling. This all happened within 2 hours which i found very impressive. The only things i disliked was that the staff specialist was a bit dismissive although she said it was a good call for me to come in she told me i probably just had tonsilitis and tests later proved it was much worse but i made a full recovery and was discharged within 5 hours.

What can i say the worst treatment of the stuff (................checking in late check out early and they are going to take the pillow of you when you are in shower to tell you out from this hospital whit the 3 years old on the end they even didn't check my son to realists him from hospital.........) and the most worst point is the manger Helen her promise and laying she didn't call me back to tell what is going on what i asked for her stuff . HELEN THE MENAGER really doesn't know what is happening in that hospital and she is some manager there.

I was patient in amergence over night and i experince the best of care from doctors and nurses and the staff .they treat patient with experience and empathy and most care .and the food very quality. I have seen how they been abused from addict people , and alcholic ,yet doctors and nurses handle this enormous abuse and pressure with degnity and professionals .thank you for all the doctors and nurses for your care.

Had surgery today. Very happy with all aspects of care and procedures. Thank you to all the lovely doctors, nurses and staff who helped me feel comfortable.
