I was brought in by paramedics at 6 due to injuries, abdominal pain and difficulty breathing. I was seen by a senior doctor in fast track and she said go home with nothing helpful on the discharge paper didn’t prescribe me with any antibiotics or pain killers. She was rude, abusive and aggressive when talking to me. I got discharge tonight without any antibiotics and the pain is getting a lot worse. Whoever is in charge of the senior doctor at the hospital should be told not to be rude, abusive or aggressive to patients. I’ve been to the hospital to get seen by a doctor for medical treatment not to get thrown out of the hospital and getting told nothing helpful. Junior doctors and nurses are a lot more helpful. After I left I was in tears because of what happened. This should not be happening at a public hospital. Patients come to get the necessary treatment and not told to leave and never come back to the hospital.
Spent 8 days in hospital. All the nurses and doctors were fantastic. So incredibly grateful for a great public health system and for the staff at the hospital who go over and above to look after their patients.
Just the best doctors and nurses. Everyone was professional, helpful, gentle, very mindful of both my physical and mental health. My best experience was when the anaesthetist whispered to my ear that everything was gonna be okay, the last thing I heard before surgery. I can’t express how much it meant to me at the time. Then, it was the time a nurse went out of her way to find me a sandwich, the first thing I managed to eat in 2 days. It remains one of the most memorable meals I’ve had. I appreciate the care I received at RNS, warmed my heart every time I think about it.
I'd put zero stars if it was possible.nnMy pregnant partner and I walked into the emergency room as she was copiously bleeding.nnNobody asked a single question, and the receptionist gave us a number even when I explained the situation to her.nnWe had to wait for 10 people and +1hr before being addressed!nnCompletely lack of professionalism, obviously nobody in the reception has the minimal idea how to quickly address a patient and its level of urgency.nnYou could have a heart attack and still need to wait the person before you who has a broken finger.nnA man in front of me literally just passed out while waiting before being taken inside for a check-up.nnAbsolutely speechless, go somewhere else if you don't want to die while waiting in a chair!
was seeing Dr Baber at the menapause clinic for around 4 years. In my last appt with him in Dec 2024 he did not mention his retirement or leaving as my conclusion is that he walked out due to mismanagement of clinic, nor did the reception mention this. I made a new appt with Dr baber for June 3rd. I should have been made aware of his retirement at this point or at the very least been notified during the 6 month wait rather than 1 week prior to June to reappoint another dr.nnOn the June 3rd dr Gurram was nice to me and was honest when I asked her is she familiar with an estradoil 100mg implant pellet. She sought another doctor as she was not experienced. Dr witton then arrived and seemed confident in the procedure. I brought a friend with me to the consult that noticed dr witton having major issues inserting implant. She not only had problems with the incision but also  using the trocar. My friend clearly saw she was struggling and was very nervous At the time. The trocar was used as incision tool as she kept on stabbing me hard with it to insert the implant. About three times the incision was made bigger and bigger and the both trocar and scouple was put on the unsterilised trolley directly instead of placing it on the hygenic white matt provided. I didn't feel anything at the time due to anaesthetic. I now have severe bruising around the implant area due to continuous scouple incisions and stabbing of the trocar. It has also been sore to touch. I never experienced anything like this with dr Baber. See attached pictures.nnAt the end of the appt I needed to make a new appt in which I was not at all confident in Dr Gurram. I was told by the head of the clinic they would be in touch with dr options. Nobody called so then I had to go back on the 7th to go through my 3 issues.nnI was the passed onto Joan the menapause admin person.nnIssue 1 was the hematouma / trauma to the implant area described above. As she had little remorse and understanding to my trauma she 100% stood up to dr witton denying everything. As I insisted on taking this further I was only given this email to complain further.nnIssue 2 although I made a next appt on the 7th for Nov 2025 with dr Roch I dontnnKnow how experienced he is with this procedure or how he will respect me. I am now searching for the right dr to replace Dr Baber even if it means travelling further.nnIssue 3. Dr Babers nurse previously was Kristen or Kirsten and 1 of the scripts Dr Baber gave regulary was depo provera in a vial that gets injected submusclulary. Upon request without hesitation kristen would give me a handful of needles see attached to do this injection myself I have done this hundreds of times at home. Now that she left asking Joan for at least 1 needle was completely impossible and ludicrous. Joan said to go to a chemist or GP which both I have tried dozens of times unsuccessfully as they all think I'm a drug attic. I need 2 or 3 needles see attachednnI now seek a resolution to the 3 issues above from RNSH
