Royal North Shore Hospital

A newly refurbished hospital. All the maternity units are new. Most of the doctors are lovely. The food is terrible but you can bring your own food anyway. No restrictions on visiting hours. There are 9 birthing suites and 41 recovery rooms with 21 private rooms where partners can stay overnight.

Was due in for an operation - nurse suggested I eat without checking with the theatre. Unfortunately I meant I couldn’t have my operation and am now delayed 2 days maybe longer. Thanks nurse for Not doing your job properly. Only here with a broken foot waiting to be fixed

RNSH has been a great public resource for my family for emergency and cardio on a couple of occasions over the years, with great doctors and caring staff each time

I was recently operated on 21/8/17. On the Brain for the second time and they couldn't have been nicer. You wouldn't get a better bunch of nurses in the Neurology Ward and the surgeon's we're outstanding. All on Medicare. I would like to thank Dr N. Little and his team. I wouldn't be here a second time without them.

It was an excellant hospital in the past, but now needs improvement. Surgeons in neurology department are most efficient.
