First time here for Avatar 3 in 4DX with 3D and absolutely love it!nnMost staff were friendly, polite and nice. This cinema was bright and also clean. Surprisingly it was little quiet. There were only 3 people for the same session. When the movie started, the other 2 ladies talked really so loud that I had to move to another front seat.nn4DX at this cinema was programed perfectly well. Chairs began with gentle movements. During the session, there were little winds beside my ears when there were gun shots, wind blowing to the whole room when the avatars were flying, some knock knock on my back when they were shot, and many more. Sprayed water was very gentle and very fast, so it didn't interrupt watching the movie at all. The 4DX program for this movie here increased so much fun to watch it. The 3D glasses fit very well too. Besides, membership is free and offers discounts to tickets.
Lately Village cinema just gets worse and worse. VIP ones constantly waiters in and out.. really distracting and annoying. I would get more quiet of mind just in the standard one. Also the chairs are unbelievable discomfort… worst recliner only in village cinema. Never go village cinema anymore. Reading cinema with just standard one so comfortable and relax. Horrible Village cinema
I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent experience at Village Cinema, Century City Glen Waverley.nnUnfortunately, the condition of the cinema hall was very poor and quite disappointing. Many of the seats were broken, filthy, and clearly not maintained to an acceptable standard. Cleanliness overall was lacking, which made the experience uncomfortable.nnAdditionally, the wall curtains were covered in dust, which is a serious concern. With no proper ventilation in the theatre, it felt like the audience was breathing in dust throughout the duration of the movie. This raises potential health concerns and is not acceptable for a public venue.nnI hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues promptly to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all customers.
Thank you so much to Village Cinemas Century City Walk employee Julia for the 5-star service she provided my friend/godfather Peter and I earlier today on 08/09/2025, we both deeply appreciate it!nnPeter had two Village Cinemas vouchers he was given by another friend of his and he had wanted to use them so both of us could see a movie together - thanks a lot to him, I am most grateful - and the vast majority of my Village Cinemas ticket purchase were done by the app so today was one of the rare few times I was purchasing tickets in person at the concession stand and it was Julia who facilitated our purchase of the two tickets via Peter's movie vouchers for our 1pm session of the 2025 Naked Gun movie; she was extremely friendly and helpful in assisting us in picking out seats out and her cheerful, friendly and obliging nature made our already first rate experience even better!nnSo thank you so much again to Julia from Peter and I for everything, she is a first rate Village Cinemas employee and deserves every reward and acknowledgement from both Village Cinemas Century City Walk and Village Cinemas HQ for the first rate customer service she provided us with today!nnSo sorry to Julia, I had been meaning to type up and post this 5-star Google review a whole lot sooner...you totally deserve it!nnOur seats at our 1pm Naked Gun session were very comfortable too and both the sound and picture were first rate as far as standard sessions go!nnAnd as I mentioned in my previous 5-star Google review for Village Cinemas Century City Walk - so sorry to them I had to delete it to make way for this new one that Julia 100% deserved wish Google allowed me to post more than one review - 100% happy with every Village Cinemas Century City Walk employee including Julia past and present that has served me and my friends including Peter for the service they provided me with over the last 27 years since it first opened in 1998, I remember back then the first movie I saw there was Small Soldiers.nnBecause of these aforementioned first rate employees including Julia and also become of the first rate comfort, picture quality and sound of each theatre be it a standard one, a 4DX one or a Gold Class One Peter and I experience it too, Peter and my other friends and I very highly recommend Village Cinemas Century City Walk for your next movie going experience! You will be taken extremely good care I'd by Julia and all the other employee; they all deserve every reward and acknowledgement from both Village Cinemas Century City Walk and Village Cinemas HQ!nnAs for the 2025 Naked Gun movie, Peter and I very highly recommend it and we both enjoyed it so much, it was unbelievably funny - thank you so much again to Julia for all her help in facilitating the purchase of our tickets and thank you so much again to Peter for the movie vouchers - it was really good, and I can see why in Breakroom Of Geeks YouTube video review of it, Vera Wylde considered it BETTER than the original 1988 Naked Gun movie, and I 100% agree with her! So 100% definitely watch the 2025 Naked Gun movie at Village Cinemas Century City Walk today or as soon as possible!nnThanks a lot again to Julia from Peter and I! Service as incredible as hers wheh purchasing tickets at the counter makes our Village Cinemas Century City Walk experience that much better! Julia absolutely ROCKS and so does ALL other past and present Village Cinemas Century City Walk employee I have been served by over the last 28 years, concession stand employees and ushers and projectionists and cleaners included!nnEDIT: On 16/05/2026 I was at the concession stand of Century City Walk Village Cinemas; asked the very nice employee there about 3D glasses being needed for two particular 4DX movie sessions I purchased tickets for, she checked and said no need, I thanked her, she was so nice thank you so much to her, big shoutout to her too so Century City Walk Village Cinemas please let her know and for reference her hair was completely black and she was of East Asian appearance so sorry to her I didn't get her name.
More like 4.5 stars.nnThe only screen in Melbourne that has 4DX on offer.nnPaid parking available, however, if you can, there is parking near the train station which is about 5 Min of walk. Up to 3 hours of free parking available.nnJust like all other village cinemas, there are arcade games, and snacks available for purchase at the entrance.nnThe Century Mall has Strike and other eateries available.
