We watched avatar in 4dx and it was one of the best experiences we ever had. It was too good with smooth process and we had student discounts as well. Really loved the place and everything was good. Definitely worth going
Need more staff on reception as we was in queue for 15 minutes.The cinemas themselves were ok, clean but the seats need to be redone when seated, it felt like we were positioned very diagonally, instead of having a slight back arch so you can lean back in any way to enjoy your viewing experience.
Great cinema, very clean and modern. The seats are very comfortable and the experience is great. The gold class seats are in my opinion the best. Gold class is good for less people in your cinema so you can enjoy the experience quietly and the seats are also retractable. Definitely come here to watch movies.
Great space for a movie. We went to the 4d cinema. Seating are desiving for the Avatar movie. 9 and 10 are on the side. If I was to go again, would get 6 to 8 midway up. Staff were extremely helpful. Both with fixing our mistake and suggestions on how to save money at the snack bar. medium drink on its own is $8, with popcorn $12. Recommend village membership, it's free, save 20% on tickets, earn points towards snacks. Park in side Street high rise. Free parking after hours, otherwise 4hrs. As far as we can see open 24hrs though no sign says closing time.
Sadly I can no longer recommend the cinema experience here. It's very outdated. The chairs are very close to each other, don't recline and are also not as comfortable when compared to other brand cinemas cloth vs leather. The cinemas definitely need a revamp. Come on Village, the Glen cinemas used to be on par or just ahead of other cinemas. It's a great location, why not invest and make it a better experience for all movie goers.
4DX theatre isn’t for everyone and is quite distracting from the movie itself. But what was more disappointing today was that on a 30+ degree day, there was no air con in the cinema and no one checked us in to also ensure we had 3D glasses. Pretty shoddy to charge an extra $1 for them after paying $25 for a added experience as well..
We came to see Avatar 4D for our child's birthday. Whilst the cinema itself was an amazing experience, we were incredibly disappointed with the lack of staff at the candy bar. We waited in line for 20 minutes before finally being served. There were only 2-3 staff serving. The film had already begun by the time we reached the cinema. The staffing issues need to be addressed.
I've haven't been to many gold class cinemas but this one is my least favourite. The environment doesn't compare to the others, it feels as though it was a pub with the table and chairs so close to the cinema entrance with people talking around us as though it was a restaurant.
Been going here since i was a kid. Chairs need an update though. 4DX is the best here though. Had the best experience in 4DX watching Top gun maverick and avatar 2.
Watched Terminator: Dark Fate. Cinema 6 4DX is awesome. The seats move like a roller coaster. The cinema is located near the restaurants along Kingsway Street. One of the busiest streets in Glen Waverley. We did not have a problem looking for car park. Definitely my favourite cinema to watch a movie.
