Simply stunning theatre! I was lucky enough to receive tickets to an advanced screening of The Wizard of Oz, and the experience was magical. Beautiful venue, great atmosphere—an absolute treat for any theatre lover!
What a beautiful nostalgic theatre! I love coming here and the Westgarth for a trip back in time for special movies!nWe were in cinema 4, beautiful boutique size with blue velour high seats. They were super comfy with cupholders, but to be honest, I wish they reclined just a little bit.nnThe cafe and bar at the front he's awesome and you can't go past a coffee and panettone and also not forgetting the olive oil popcorn! Beautiful theatre!nnAs for street parking, there is some three hour carparks that you might be lucky to get. Otherwise if it's going to be a busy night at the theatre you're best off parking in the sidestreet.
Lovely old cinema. Visit ruined somewhat by the immediate tipping over of our pricey glasses of wine when placed in the seat drinks holder in cinema 4 I presume all cinema seats the same Only after the movie did I notice all the signs along the back wall warning against putting wine glasses in the holders and refusing to refund the inevitable spilt drink. Wandering into a dark cinema, my first thought is not to read notices on the wall.nHere’s a tip; How about stemless glasses? Or getting the staff to warn of the incompatibility of the holders for wine glasses upon purchase.nExpensive lesson.
Parking can be a problem. BUT, once inside, it's a lovely labyrinth of cinemas. The seats are super comfy, the different sized cinemas appropriate. I particularly like the spaciousness of the smaller ones.
Great theatre, as usual, but slightly disappointed that it didn't open till 10.45, which upset our plans to have coffee and food before the 11am film, which was a 3 hour one.
