Metro Cinemas Boronia is a family owned & operated cinema with affordable movie tickets and candy-bar prices!

Story

Metro Cinemas Boronia has been in operation since June 2005.
Since then it has been managed and run by the Schouten family with over 50 years of experience in the cinema industry.

Originally the "Electra Cinema" and then converted in 1974 to a VillageTwin Cinema complex.
Refurbished in the late 90's to a four screen complex.

This cinema is a lovely charming cinema and the cinemas themselves are not massive so you’re close to screen pretty much anywhere in the theatre. The seats are comfy and the sound is good. We had a lovely time.nnNo disability access, there are a LOT of stairs.
Nice little cinema. Very well priced, clean and the screen is very easy to see.nnIt is old school seats and a bit tight moving through rows. Also be careful parking inspectors 3hr parking limit during peak times
Metro cinemas is the BEST!nFor me it’s Nostalgia at its finest with top notch customer service.nThis cinema complex is always comfortable and clean providing a wonderful viewing experience for every movie I have ever watched there. Ticket and food prices are AMAZING value for money and the price gets better if you get yourself a membership.nI won’t set foot in another overpriced cinema again. ALL the staff here deserve to be very highly commended, I can't recommend Metro Cinemas Boronia more highly enough for all movie lovers.nThe kids and I love it here!nI hope this cinema will continue to thrive for many years to come.
Very nice and clean cinema, staff very pleasant.only problem is its very very Hard for old people to have to climb the stairs surely there must be another entrance from the REAR THAT COULD BE USED JUST FOR OLD PEOPLE ONLY. UNFORTUNATELY I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT CAN NOT ATTEND YOUR LOVELY CINEMA. I REALLY HOPE THAT YOU OWNERS CAN SORT SOMETHING OUT AS I'M NOT THE ONLY OLD PERSON OUT THERE.
Great experience. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Latest movies on offer.nPrices are very reasonable and wonderful to support a small family business that have been operating throughout the years and still able to offer services to the community.
