I have not been here for a while. Normally go to White's Eastland and the cinemas themselves seem a little bit run down. the leather on the seats In the cinema we were in watching the minions was all worn on multiple seats and the guy's toilets. One toilet was completely broken and you couldn't flush it and the other ones look like they haven't been cleaned under the toilet seat pages. Mustafa friendly and helpful so I don't have an issue with that at all. Seems more comfortable in a movie experience. Experience in general was okay, but compared to Heights it seems like it's a rundown cinema that needs a revamp.
I haven’t been here in a few years, the last time tickets were probably $12. Paid $20 now, which would be fine as all the other cinema companies are similar - but I’ve never been to a cinema full of dirty and falling apart seats. If you were still $12 okay, but you’re priced the same as everyone else so why haven’t you upgraded your seats? I would love to send the photos to customer service if possible.
Really good service from Millie, she’s a gem. Only reason for the 3 stars is because of the condition of the recliner seats. When you pay nearly $24 per seat and the seats are broken, missing tables, very worn and sticky, you feel a bit ripped off!
This has been my local cinema for many years, and had slowly been falling into dilapidation. The reclining chairs, once comfortable and built for 2 hrs of comfortable watching, are very worn down, and many of the seats no longer recline. I recently watched a movie in cinema 8 for the first time in 4 years, and was shocked to find the stain I noticed on the screen all those years ago was still there! Whilst this will still be my go to cinema due to its location, it really needs some refurbishing.
Great facilities with all new recliners now in clean excellent condition!! Friendly staff and quick service. They hold fun ladies nights to attend with advanced screenings and a glass of bubbles, highly recommend!
