Wow what can I say. We watched Thor: Love and thunder in VMAX. I didn't regret spending more money then normal screen. The seats where wider than the normal screen, comfortable and ample space to keep your drinks. My only regret was the food. We took The Bucket Boss, too salty. We had to throw it away. I recommend not to use salt at all in The Bucket boss comes with the sauce which already has salt. It's just my opinion but otherwise pretty great experience.
Took the children here to see Sonic 2 for the school holidays, they absolutely loved it! They enjoyed how interactive the cinema was, the beanbag chairs and recliners, the colouring and hot wheels at the entry and then the dance floor and slide inside the cinema. Was great that there was an intermission in the movie so that they could go to the toilet and have a play, seemed to be timed perfectly for when children were getting unsettled.
The staff were very polite n nice. Washrooms are clean. The seats are not pushback though. The gaming zone runs throughout.
Gold class is always a great way to watch a movie Would've given 5 star's But food service is a little slow at Fountain gate
I love this village cinemas! Usually a quick drive for date night and points add up quickly so we are always going Gold Class and using our points for drinks and dessert! I love being able to recline and drink wine while watching a movie!
We went the Gold Class option. The staff were excellent, providing great customer service which you expect when you pay $45 per ticket. Unfortunately the food was a dissapointment as the burgers were dry, maybe reheated and the wedges just not the best or value for money. We'll give it another go sometime.
Enjoyed a lively time in Gold class. The experience voucher was something I would not normally do for myself, but it was really nice. Entrees were amazing, mains pizza a little disappointed by, and thr slider buns were dry.
I am aware of the staff shortages we are currently experiencing but my most recent session in gold class was jarring. Staff did not individually take tables to their designated seats, rather just pointed to Cinema 2 and said "the movie is ready". The starters came half way through the movie and were cold and dry. Pressed the call button for the first time ever in gold class to query where the starters were but no one attended to the seat. Waited 10 minutes and pressed it again - still no one. Waited another 10 to press the button and no one came. Decided to exit the cinema to find help. This is all despite paying the same price for tickets and food as I did a few months ago for a reduced quality of service. The other reviews are right - you're better off going to Hoyts.
We went to watch PS1 VMax as a family. They said they are cleaning and they let us in but they didn’t clean. We had to ask them to clean but clean was horrible as the seats were sticky, rubbish everywhere and dirty. Movie screen was good but the seats were dirty and not clean. Is it all the money we gave you worth it?
Sitting through 3 hours of Avatar with no air conditioning made the whole expensive terrible. Management were told about at the start and we were advised it would be turned on. The theatre turned into a sauna within an hour The seats are old and in need of an urgent upgrade, I would rather drive an extra 30 minutes to visit any other cinema than to come back to this one
