Experienced VMAX here today and my family and I enjoyed it. Cinema was clean and comfy. Picture and sound quality were excellent. Customer service when purchasing popcorn and drinks was pleasant and service with a smile. All in all, enjoyed today's experience at this cinema and will certainly be back soon.
Amazing cinema in Melbourne, venue is large and close by to Southland movie foodcourt. Easy access to get tickets and popcorn and actual cinema is very big. They offer many types of movie experiences including gold class or v-max.
Went to a VMAX session for Avatar 2 and was pretty disappointed.. The screen size was barely larger, especially compared to Hoyts and Event. We were in cinema 6 and seats were old and outdated, they weren’t recliners which I honestly thought they all were these days and the arm rests were lacking padding as they were quite old, which made them quite uncomfortable. The cinemas were clean and service was good, but I wouldn’t go back as I could go elsewhere with better quality seats and screens for cheaper.
Attended Saturday 14 Jan 23 in Premium cinema 10 for an afternoon session. Upon entry the cinema felt rather warm and clearly had no air conditioning working. Only got worse with the entry doors closed with at least half full. It was my decision to remain for the whole duration of the movie thinking it was a glitch and it would start up. It didn’t. I approached staff at the end of the movie and the manager offered her apologies and a free ticket. Not good enough when I was told it had not been working for over 2 days. No pre-warning given and no water provided upon entry. A real Work Health Safety issue and management should wake up to themselves and treat their patrons way better. The cinema should have been closed.
Gold class management was shocking. Paid for the indulgence package $200 for date night, only for one of us to forget our ID so they refuse to serve alcohol fair enough, but then decided to refuse changing the drink for two soft drinks. Overall incredibly disappointing
maaaan this place is in rough shape these days and makes it harder to come back. Everyone i've had to interact with has been nice and welcoming, but several screenings i've been to recently have had obvious projector and audio issues, including red/blue lines on almost everything, drapes not being moved properly so in the end they're blocking parts of the screen, audio being way too quiet for what's playing and a few speakers seem to make a rattling sound? can't forget to mention that the chairs are gross and quite a few of them are cracked.
Staff are helpful, clnema and toilets are clean, popcorns always fresh. Discount on pensioners,social security and seniors cards. Enjoy a night out with family or friends. Managers and staff work very professionally and quick Thankyou Figen
We went to Village Junior. I was a little disappointed as a fair few of the seats were very worn. Kids being kids loved it as they were able to go on the slide, before the movie and halfway through the movie. Lol.
The staff were very busy and came off as slightly rude. The staff at the candy bar were very slow and almost made us late to the movie. The chairs were very uncomfortable, almost forcing you to hunch over. I left the cinema with a sore back and aching shoulder. The cinemas were nice and clean, and the popcorn and food was good.
