We had the best experience today for my child’s 6th birthday party. Hugh and all the staff were great. I booked it through Laura at head office who was fantastic to deal with. Clean cinemas and all the kids had a blast. We’ll be back for school holiday sessions for sure! Thank you Palace cinemas for your 5 star service!
I saw Elvis here a few months ago and had coughing episodes throughout the movie which was embarrassing. I was perfectly fine before entering the theatre. I can only put it down to lack of cleanliness. The toilets were an absolute disgrace with water over the vanity from one end to the other, toilet paper everywhere and a general lack of repairs. The snack bar was half empty. I haven't renewed my Palace card.
The fire alarms went off around 7:30 pm this evening 27th Jan. Very badly handled as if no training was ever given to staff. We were on our own to decide what to do. Alarm going off and still in darkness with films running. Could have been a disaster ! Please train your staff.
Cinema in desperate need of renovation for at least 10 years! Toilets smelly and taps not working. Sick of getting told to be careful of the drink holders. When is this all getting fixed?
great location, and the hall was pretty clean, the parking isn’t any cheaper if you watch a movie there, so you after cheaper parking fee, be aware.
We love Palace Cinemas and have been members for 20+ years as we love arthouse movies but this evening went to see a fabulous film at the Dendy Brighton and was horrified at the state of the toilets, which appeared not to have been cleaned for weeks! I went to both ladies toilets as the first was so disgusting so went to the other which was equally as bad. The carpets in the foyer are filthy and the cinema hadn't been cleaned before our session...popcorn all over the floor! This is just NOT GOOD enought!!!
Attended the viewing about the avro Lancaster bomber, which was excellent. Lovely theatre but the seats are rather uncomfortable.
Excellent theatre with good choice of films. Prices are cool and a good counter to get your popcorn and glass of wine.
Great cinemas in nice place staff can be rather rude at times.
This is our local theatre and we love it. We are members and get reduced price tickets. We also go on cheap Tuesday in late afternoon and practically have the theatre to ourselves. Good selection of films as well
