I went to the newly renovated cinema last night in Church street Brighton. The reception area was excellent . The movie we saw was in Cinema 2.nIt was a warm evening last night and there was no air conditioning in the cinema and it felt like we were in a sauna. There reception had air conditioning . I will never go back to this cinema.
Aircon was not working and we were not offered a refund. When I suggested to the incredibly rude young man on reception that it should have been offered on the day he said “ oh and how could we tell 200 people they could get a refund”. I suggested announcing it at the end of the screening. He didn’t apologise and when I asked for his name he said I won’t as you’ll complain about me. Then proceeded to hang up. Great staff for a new theatre!!! Not.
Please management give your staff a Dustbuster or stick vacuum … movie held up today whilst a lovley young lady had to clean cinema on her own with a broom and dustpan !!! Crowd grew restless and became rude … I really felt for her
Was here for a pre screening of gladiator & got promised by manager the choice of a complimentary choc tops or seltzer. When asking for a choc top at the kiosk, a female staff member rudely said that wasn’t part of the deal and rolled her eyes at me in front of everyone behind me in line. After giving it to me in a huff, she came to find me in my seat after the movie had started, demanding me to go out and pay?nVery poor to treat customers this way, maybe alert the whole team of deals next time
Very nice. Plenty of parking though don't go into the parking building allocated to Dendy. Plenty of free shady parking around.
