The prices of tickets and snacks here are so cheap compared to village cinemas and there is a reason for that. You will see that there is a certain smell inside the theaters and the screens also have stains on them. For a highly populated area this cinema is quite empty mybyusband and I were the only people for a screening even for new releases and I would definitely encourage more people to visit because you can get past the smell and once the movie is on you can barely tell that the screen is stained.
Easy access and heaps of parking! Not very crowded when I went in. I had the entire row to myself but felt safe enough as there were more people in other rows.
The family had a good time! The theatre was clean and the staff was awesome! The boys enjoyed Minions: Rise of GRU. The adults got a good laugh also. The action made the movie go really fast.
I do suggest bringing a coat as it does get cold in there but I have to say that I enjoyed the movie I watched. The place isn't that bad it is smaller but the movie experience is what it's about . I love that it's so much cheaper than the big ones. I watched Violent Night and loved it. Hey always have some fun.
It's just an okay place. The tickets are very cheap, lots of screens, so lots of movie options. Location is excellent inside dandenong mall. Parking space and food options are good as well. But it's poorly maintained, the whole place has a funny smell like there is no ventilation. Very dark.
Hi. I just saw a movie at the Dandenong cinema this Sunday 4th Dec. I really must say that I am not a fussy person generally but this had to be the worst cinema i have ever been in. The toilets were discusting. There was wee everywhere and it just stank. It had not veen cleaned in a very long time. Even the entrance and foyer was smelly. The entire place needs a deep steam clean. The carpet stinks and was sticky. Then the actual cinema No 4 was smelly and had not been cleaned in a very long time. The seats stank and when i got home the snell from the seats was on my clothes. Non of it was a recent smell either, it was a stale just never been cleaned stench. I will never go there again. Horrible.
Bought a friend to watch movie and your lifts were broken and she was embarrassed as she has a Walker. The other man in wheelchair also had to leave. In this day and age this is unacceptable. Thank goodness for your staff who helped her but it's not their job. Fix the lift for people who can't use stairs. Poor effort on your part considering people want to watch a movie on Boxing Day.
Have gone to this cinema for my whole life and theres something about it, sure I comeback home smelling like piss and the reading cinemas intro gives me a siesure. But I still love it, cheap tickets and food + not many people. Not bad, 5 stars loll
Return visit. Great for value. Watched family friendly movie. Very entertaining. Space is great and clean. Has necessary amenities. Very recommended. Often coming here for watching cinema. Great and comfortable place for watching as it has small room thus not many people in one room. For me, its a bargain for watching cinema, as i m supporting this company instead the giant one. Screen is enough to give me cinema's experience. The seat is comfortable tho its not a deep seat one. There is a shop inside cinema selling normal cinema's stuffs. Restroom is clean. After watching, food court is right outside cinema. Very recommended.
Reading Cinema located in Dandenong is conveniently near bus stop. Cinema’s movie session prices, snacks and drinks are cheap compared to Hoyts and Village Cinemas. Inside cinema is comfortable and cozy, for those who wish to bring their snack & drink inside cinema there’s Premium option but extra charge which is well priced as far as I know. Experience is great value for money.
