Service was good, quick and efficient. Went in for some advice on basic bike repair and maintenance, he was more then happy to offer advice. I've been impressed by his knowledge of products from other stores too and has been really helpful in explaining how certain products can affect your bike in the long run

No fuss, no sales pitch, no unnecessary services, spot-on service fee. John tells it how he sees it and get your bicycle to working condition. Had a couple of rusted cables that he could have replaced and charged more for the service but he lubed it up at no extra costs because they are not worth replacing.

Great service. When my order was delayed by Giant, John went above and beyond to make sure I had my bike in time for my event. I highly recommend Unibicycles for a competitive price, knowledgeable advice and excellent customer service. The Giant CX Pro rides like a dream. Thanks John

I don’t usually take the time to review places but I was very disappointed with my experience with this business today. The assistant working today was very rude and confrontational. Having just purchased a secondhand bike I went to TinAlley to use the bike tools outside of the shop to lower the seat on my bike. Having realised there is no such tool at the bike station I thought I would enquire inside about the use of a spanner to lower the bike seat. The assistant made it perfectly clear that they do not loan tools (a decision which is fine I suppose). In addition, if I wanted him to lower the seat it would cost $10 and I would have to wait a couple of hours as he has many bikes in front. As a person somewhat familiar with bike servicing, I don’t think this was a fair deal so I politely declined. I then asked if they sell spanners at the bike shop which is apparently a question that was outside the realm of possibility. The assistant was very rude and quite confrontational. Being a fairly new bike commuter and a university student I was expecting a little more support or politeness from the staff. I know many other bike shops in Melbourne that are happy to help out and offer a little bit of support or expertise with simple bike maintenance or even how to change a tire. The persons attitude was quite shocking and I tried to leave with my bike as I felt uncomfortable at which point they followed me outside and continued to talk down to me. I would not recommend this shop. I am sure they do a wonderful job on technical repairs but for the average student commuter I found the staff to be confrontational and frankly unkind.

Attendant was rude and lied about the pump outside. Only wanted to get my tire reinflated, but had to suffer a lot of snide remarks just to be able to get out of there. Ridiculous.
