Travelodge Hobart exceeded all our expectations during our multi-night stay. The location is unbeatable for exploring the city, situated right in the heart of town. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable- especially the beds! We slept great.nnThe real highlight, however, is the fantastic staff who made us feel right at home. We loved every minute of our stay and highly recommend.
The hotel is in a very good location because many interesting things are all walkable, from great restaurants to amazing bars, the town hall and the harbor as well as the tourist information! The hotel is modern and the staff is friendly! They offer parking for $22 a night which is very convenient and have laundry in the basement for guests but coins only! The room was nice and clean, just the bathroom was a bit small and the heat couldn’t be turned higher than 26°C but the views were super nice! We would come back!
Great location. Staff are unfriendly. We bookended our Tasmania trip, staying at Hobart Travelodge at the beginning when at the end of our trip. When checking in we felt like an inconvenience. When advising the tv didnt work we were given another key and moved rooms. Coffee was not topped up until a note was left. The bathroom was not cleaned during our first stay, as a small drop of makeup I'd unintentionally left on the sink was visible. The rooms are really, really small. We struggled with two adults and a child with two suitcases. The shower is barely big enough to turn in. The microwave was broken and didnt turn.nParking was $20 a night which was not mentioned in my reservation. Do not park a larger car, there is very little space for anything bigger than a compact car. The location is great, close to shopping.nWe had booked both stays prior to our trip and they were non-refundable, whereas others are. If we could have got a refund I would have cancelled the second stay.
I enjoyed my stays with them before and after my DUD tour evens they are not affiliated with DUD. The queen bedrooms are clean and worth the price I paid. The receiption people are nice and helpful. They have a microwave, utensil, and a small fridge. My rooms have shower only. A little longer walking distance to the wharf. The skybus stop is 5-10 minute walk. Their breakfast is okay.
This 4 star hotel hits the mark. Sharp interior, clean and efficient. Staff is friendly and on it! You can even get a beer at the front desk! The breakfast buffet was really good and a true value. We will return in a week for another stay.
