What a grand old lady!nThe hotel is spacious, clean and adorably retro. But in saying that, it has been kept up to date.nIt was an absolute pleasure to stay in the large family room, which was clean and had everything a family needs for a relaxing stay.nThe service and staff were faultless. Breakfast buffet was delicious.nClose to the CBD and transport.nDefinitely recommend it to anyone travelling with family.nOnly suggestion would be more family friendly meals in the restaurant.
We came off a red eye plane trip from Perth WA and as we are in our 70s, we were knackered. They found a room for us quite a bit earlier than check in time. We were very grateful. Our room is lovely and clean and comfy. Thank you for such great service.
Great hotel! It’s located walking distance from the CBD so airport bus stops are still quite accessible. Rooms were larger than expected but had all the necessities. I think the bathroom was newly renovated but the design causes the water from the shower area to flood to the bathroom entrance. Staff were very nice and helpful - they kept my luggage for me after I checked-out. There’s also a self-laundry area so quite convenient for visitors staying for a few days.
Its an oldie but a goodie. Very dated and basic look, however the rooms were comfortable and neat and customer service fantastic. The only issue was noise from outside, but its Hobart, so pretty quiet most of the time. Great locaton to CBD, restaurants and wharf. Overall very good
The rooms are okay but clean. During our stay we used to leave early to explore the city and came back late to only sleep. Can't complain as this hotel is quite affordable.
