Shower was amazing pressure & temp. Room has extra space to maneuver & multiple tables. Bed ok comfort-wise& can fit multiple people. Had a nice balcony view inland especially sunset. Expect 15-20 min walk to waterfront and 5-10 min walk to restaurants. Skybus is 10 min uphill walk. Staff friendly from limited interactions.

I cannot thank Karen and the entire team at Best Western Hobart enough for their kindness and support during one of the most difficult times in my life. I was in Hobart because my sister had been airlifted to the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm, and I urgently needed a place that was comfortable, safe, and within walking distance. From the moment I arrived, Karen at reception was incredibly compassionate, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed, and her kindness made such a difference during an overwhelming time.nnThe rest of the staff were equally wonderful—always helpful and understanding. After long, emotionally exhausting days at the hospital, knowing I had a welcoming, comfortable, and safe place to return to each night made all the difference. It gave me the strength to keep showing up for my family.nnI truly and sincerely thank the team at Best Western Hobart for their support, hospitality, and kindness. My sister has a long journey ahead, but I know she will pull through. And every time I fly down to visit her, I won’t stay anywhere else—Best Western will always be my home away from home.nnThank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Great location. Very central to town centre. Easy walk to the harbour. Rooms are a good size. Hairdryer, fridge, kettle, teabags, coffee available. Breakfast is okay if included in room price but I would not pay $23 for it

It was so unpleasant when I went to the reception at first. A lady in the desk was no smile. Only cold face. Even no eye contact.  When I asked a question, I can’t forget her face which looks being irritated.nWhen getting into the room, even worse. Smells like an awful stale cigaret smell. Carpet was not cleaned.nWill Never book here again.

Besides loud music being played in the room above it was ok. Room service for breakfast was quick but the sausages on the big breakfast seemed pink still in the middle, eggs were really vinegar in taste and tomatoes had way too much pepper on them.
