The rooms were nice enough and value is great. The food at the restaurant was pretty good actually and the location is within walking distance. I would recommend getting a room that is away from the street as the sound proofing was not good at all and we were up all night on the weekend with the rooftop garden bar nearby blasting music all night.

I’m editing a previous negative review written on my first night. Thank you management for responding to my concerns regarding the inability to turn off the bathroom light, which is on a timed sensor. There has definitely been sleep disruption due to this.nHowever, I’m now at my third and last night and really have to say that it’s been a pleasant stay. The bed is huge and very comfortable, the hot water in the bathroom is virtually immediate and I love the rainwater style giant shower head. The towels are large, soft and not threadbare. I’m on level 5 and have found the traffic noise minimal. It’s a short walk from the hotel to most places around town. I have taken advantage of and enjoyed the 5-6pm happy hour and the buffet breakfast. If on a short stay and happy to forego room servicing, you’ll receive an $8 discount voucher on food and seniors receive a 15% discount on food at the restaurant.nI want to especially thank receptionist TRACEY for her friendliness, kindness, endless info on navigating Hobart and taking a few minutes for a chat and a laugh each day, her customer service skills are EXCEPTIONAL!

We came off a red eye plane trip from Perth WA and as we are in our 70s, we were knackered. They found a room for us quite a bit earlier than check in time. We were very grateful. Our room is lovely and clean and comfy. Thank you for such great service.

What a grand old lady!nThe hotel is spacious, clean and adorably retro. But in saying that, it has been kept up to date.nIt was an absolute pleasure to stay in the large family room, which was clean and had everything a family needs for a relaxing stay.nThe service and staff were faultless. Breakfast buffet was delicious.nClose to the CBD and transport.nDefinitely recommend it to anyone travelling with family.nOnly suggestion would be more family friendly meals in the restaurant.

We arrived last night after a long day of flying. We were exhausted.nI didn't get the young man on checkouts name but he was attentive, pleasant and got us the best rate for an extra night .nAdvised us of the buffet breakfast and the restaurant for dinners.nWe will have the buffet in the morning and ate here for dinner.nBoth Matt & Jamie delivered quick service with a smile, also advised us if the buffet breakfast.nWould highly recommend the Best Western. The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed.
