For over 180 years, Hadley’s Orient Hotel has nestled in the heart of this vibrant city and in the fond memories of many a guest. Originally built by convict labour in 1834, Hadley’s is one of the oldest boutique hotels in Australia.

The National Trust listed venue is home to stunning event spaces, heritage style accommodation, the Hadley’s Gallery, Dining Room and Orient Bar. Hadley’s offers signature experiences such as their Traditional Afternoon Tea, turndown service, and both history and horse & carriage tours. Amazing. Beautuful historical hotel and we'll deserves it's 4 stars. In fact should be 5 stars. The staff are impeccable and it's walking distance to everything you need in Hobart. 

The decor I have to mention. Everything is fitted to it's theme  I loved the small details like the vintage news paper delivery that shared the hotels history. The art gallery and all the vintage furniture in the common areas. Although vintage everything is kept to a high standard and nothing is "old or shabby". Food was good and the cocktails were of high standard.

Of course the stand out feature and experience is the High tea in the Atrium. Takes me back in time and to die for treats.

Loved my experience at the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Amazing hotel, beautiful heritage building, with its own art gallery, piano bar and restaurant. Situated just a short walk from the waterfront, the location is convenient to restaurants and tourist attractions. Fabulous!

Lovely historic hotel in the heart of the city.  Looks slightly upmarket as you enter but there is more beyond.   Pleasant rooms with all modern conveniences.   Checkin was easy and super friendly.  Only issue, if it is one, is the that hotel is located up the hill from the wharf and many of the restaurants.  Nothing that a few extra steps can’t cope with

Stayed four nights and really enjoyed it. Close to everything with polite friendly staff, comfortable clean room and a beautifully cooked breakfast each morning. Just to experience the atmosphere of this lovely old hotel is reason enough to stay there. A relaxing drink in the Orient bar at the end of the day, listening to the piano player was wonderful. Stay there !

Very 'old school' type hotel. Beautifully decorated, colour scheme very 'old world'.
Staff are terrific, nothing too much trouble.
Great feeling of being 'welcomed' and appreciated.
Food and service was excellent.
